Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, dated 27th January, 1902, for giving effect to the provisions of the above-mentioned subsection, section, and Act, the Hawke's Bay County Council hereby resolves as follows:
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £3,200, authorised to be raised by the Hawke's Bay County Council, under the provisions of “The Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1901,” for the purpose of building a traffic-bridge over the Tukituki River, at a point known as the “Waimarama Crossing,” the said Hawke's Bay County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of ½d. in the pound upon the rateable valuation of all rateable property of the Clive and Havelock Ridings—comprising all that district, containing 48,600 acres, more or less, situate in the County of Hawke's Bay, commencing at the junction of the Manganarara Stream with the Tukituki River; thence bounded on the south-west by the Manganarara Stream and Blocks 38 and 41, Kauranaki Crown Grant District, to the Maraetotara River; thence on the north-west by the Maraetotara Stream, Blocks 43, 49, 42, 48, and 44, Kauranaki Crown Grant District, and Sections 4, 5, and 6, Elsthorpe Estate, to the south-western corner of Waimarama No. 3 Block; thence on the south-west by the Te Apiti Block to the sea-coast; thence on the south-east and west by the sea to a point 220 chains north of the mouth of the Waipuka Stream; thence on the north-east by parts of Crown lands and Blocks 6, 14, 10, and 1, Kidnapper Crown Grant District line, bearing 286° to the Tukituki River; thence generally on the north-west by the Tukituki River to the commencing-point—and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 31st day of January and the 31st day of July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty-six years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
I hereby certify that this special order was made by the Hawke's Bay County Council on the 14th day of April, 1902, and confirmed on the 14th day of May, 1902.

THE following special order, made by the Wirokino Road Board, is published in accordance with the provisions of “The Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1901.”

WIROKINO ROAD BOARD.
“THAT public notice be given that it is the intention of this Board at its next meeting to make the following special order: ‘That, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1901,” the Wirokino Road Board hereby resolves as follows: That for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £1,000 authorised to be raised by the Wirokino Road Board, under the provisions of “The Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1901,” for the purpose of acquiring land and constructing a road known as Pretoria Road, to run from County Road into the said special district as far as Section 9, Block XV., Mount Robinson Survey District, the said Wirokino Road Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of ⅝d. in the pound upon the rateable valuation of all rateable property in the Pretoria Special Rating District—comprising Manawatu-Kukutauaki 2E, Sections 9, 10, 11, 12, Block XV.; 8, 9, 11, 12, Block XV.; 12 and 13, Block XVI., Mount Robinson Survey District: 1, 2, 3, Block IV., Waiopehu Survey District—and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable annually on the 1st day in June in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of forty-one years, or until the loan is fully paid off.’”
I hereby certify that the foregoing special order by the Wirokino Road Board was duly adopted at an ordinary meeting held on the 15th day of February, 1902, and confirmed at a special meeting held on the 22nd day of March, 1902, and was made in accordance with the provisions of “The Road Boards Act, 1882.”

Notice of Vesting of Land in the Public Trustee under “The Unclaimed Lands Act, 1894.”
WHEREAS I, the undersigned, the Public Trustee, have, for the purposes of “The Unclaimed Lands Act, 1894,” made due inquiries with respect to the land described in the Schedule hereunder written, and the owner thereof, and have, in respect of the said land, given the notices prescribed by section 4 of the said Act, and have in all respects complied with the provisions of the said section: And whereas I have not thereby ascertained who the owner is, and believe that such owner is not in the colony, nor has such owner established his title to the said land, as required by the said Act: I hereby give notice that the said land is, under and by virtue of the said Act, vested in me as the Public Trustee as aforesaid, as from the date of the publication hereof, and will be administered under the said Act; the assessed value of the said land being less than £100.
