of “The Justices of the Peace Act, 1882.”

In the matter of the Virgin Flat Gold-mining Company
(Limited).
An extraordinary general meeting of the abovenamed
company, duly convened, and held at the offices of
Badham and Biss, Customhouse Quay, in the City of
Wellington, on the 18th day of March, 1902, the following
special resolution was duly passed, and at a subsequent
extraordinary general meeting of the members of the said
company, also duly convened, and held at the same place
on the 9th day of April, 1902, the following resolution was
duly confirmed, viz.:—

“That the company be wound up voluntarily.”

And at such last-mentioned meeting Augustus Samuel
Biss, of Customhouse Quay, in the City of Wellington,
was appointed Liquidator for the purposes of such wind-
ing-up.

In the matter of the Golden Link Dredging Company
(Limited).
An extraordinary general meeting of the abovenamed
company, duly convened, and held at Dunedin on the
14th day of April, 1902, the following extraordinary resolu-
tion was duly passed:—

“That it has been proved to the satisfaction of the share-
holders that the company cannot, by reason of its liabilities,
continue its business, and accordingly that it is advisable to
wind up the company voluntarily.”

At the same meeting Mr. ANDREW HAMILTON, of Dunedin,
Sharebroker, was appointed Liquidator for the purposes of
such winding-up.

Dated this 26th day of April, 1902.

In the matter of the Gold Chair Gold-dredging Company
(Limited).
An extraordinary general meeting of the members of
the abovenamed company, duly convened, and held at
the registered office of the company, 3, Bond Street, Dunedin,
on Friday, the 9th day of May, 1902, the following extraordi-
nary resolution was duly passed (to take effect under section
189, subsection (3), of “The Companies Act, 1882”), viz.:—

“That it has been proved to the satisfaction of this meet-
ing that the company cannot, by reason of its liabilities,
continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up
the same. and accordingly that the company be wound up
voluntarily, and that Sydney Thorpe Mirams, of Dunedin,
be and he is hereby appointed Liquidator for the purposes of
such winding-up.”

Dated at Dunedin, this 15th day of May, 1902.

An extraordinary general meeting of shareholders of
the Great Greenstone Gold-dredging Company (Li-
ited), held on the 2nd April, 1902, and a further confirma-
tory meeting held on the 23rd April, 1902, the following
resolutions were carried:—

  1. That the company be forthwith wound up voluntarily.
  2. That a Liquidator be appointed, and that Mr. J. D.
    Lynch be appointed to the position.
