I, THE undersigned, hereby make application to register the Alpha-Dawn Gold-mining Company as a limited company under the provisions of “The Mining Companies Act, 1894.”

  1. The name of the company is the Alpha-Dawn Gold-mining Company (Limited).

  2. No prospectus has been or is intended to be issued.

  3. There are no promoters’ shares.

  4. The minimum issue of shares is seven hundred.

  5. The directors may at any time up to the 31st day of March, 1902, issue to any persons who have within two years been shareholders of the Alpha Gold-mining Company (No Liability) all or any of the shares for the time being unissued, and after that date may issue the same in such manner as they may deem advisable, after first offering the same to the shareholders of the company for the time being in proportion to the shares they hold, and at the expiration of fourteen days after posting in Invercargill of notices to such shareholders.

  6. At least five shillings per share shall be paid on allotment.

  7. The place of operations is at Preservation.

  8. The registered office of the company will be situated in Invercargill, at the office of C. S. Longuet, solicitor.

  9. The nominal capital of the company is five hundred pounds, in one thousand shares of ten shillings each.

  10. The number of shares subscribed for is eight hundred and fifty-eight, being not less than two-thirds of the entire number of shares in the company.

  11. There are no shares issued as paid-up.

  12. The amount already paid up is £167 17s. 6d.

  13. The name of the Manager is David Gibb Thornton.

NOTICE is hereby given that a General Meeting of Shareholders in this company will be held at the office of Mr. W. T. Monkman, Jetty Street, Dunedin, on Friday, the 16th May, 1902, at 4.30 p.m., for the purpose of receiving the Liquidators’ accounts, showing the manner in which the winding-up has been conducted and the property of the company disposed of, and of determining the manner in which the books, accounts, and documents of the company, and of the Liquidators thereof, shall be dealt with.
