Proclaiming the Taking of Land for Road in Omona Survey District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers conferred by section thirteen of “The Land Act, 1892,” and its amendments, I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, with the consent of the owners and mortgagee, and of the Stratford County Council, being the local authority in whose district the said land is situated, do by this notice hereby proclaim as a road the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto.

In the Land District of Taranaki; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan numbered 1740, deposited in the District Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at New Plymouth, in the Taranaki Land District, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly; Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George; Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Colony of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Colony, at the Government House, at Wellington, this eleventh day of March, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and two.

Land taken for a Public Abattoir in Paritutu Survey District.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken under “The Public Works Act, 1894,” for a certain work, to wit, for the purpose of a public abattoir for the Borough of New Plymouth:

And whereas the New Plymouth Borough Council has laid before the Governor the memorial, accompanied by a map, together with a statutory declaration, required by the said Act:

Now, therefore, I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities in me vested by “The Public Works Act, 1894,” and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in that behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that, from and after the date of the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purpose of a public abattoir for the Borough of New Plymouth.

Time for Preparation of Roll under Gold Duty Abolition and Mining Property Rating Act extended, Grey County.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this fourth day of March, 1902.

Present:

THE RIGHT HONOURABLE R. J. SEDDON PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS, the County Council of the Grey County having failed, through misadventure, to prepare the valuation roll of mining property in the Grey County in the month of January, one thousand nine hundred and two, as required by section seven of “The Gold Duty Abolition and Mining Property Rating Act, 1890,” it is expedient to extend the time for preparing the said roll as hereinafter mentioned:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in order that the purpose and intent of “The Gold Duty Abolition and Mining Property Rating Act, 1890,” may have effect, and in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by “The Rating Act, 1882,” which said Act is incorporated with the first above-mentioned Act, and by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby extend the time for the preparation of the valuation roll for the Grey County under “The Gold Duty Abolition and Mining Property Rating Act, 1890,” until the seventh day of March, one thousand nine hundred and two.

Taneatua Recreation-ground, Whakatane Survey District, Auckland, brought under “The Public Domains Act, 1881.”

RANFURLY, Governor.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this fourth day of March, 1902.

Present:

THE RIGHT HONOURABLE R. J. SEDDON PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

BY virtue of the powers and authorities vested in me by the twenty-fourth section of “The Public Reserves Act, 1881,” I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, do hereby order and declare that the reserve made for public recreation in the Auckland Land District described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby brought under the operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of “The Public Domains Act, 1881”; and such domain shall hereafter be managed, administered, and dealt with in manner directed by the said Act.

SCHEDULE.

All that area in the the Auckland Land District, being Section No. 11 of Block IX., Whakatane Survey District, containing by admeasurement 10 acres,- more or less. Bounded towards the north-east by Section No. 10 of Block IX., Whakatane Survey District, 1552 links; towards the south-east by the Waimana River; towards the south-west by a public road, 1722 links; and towards the north-west by a public road, 597 links, to the point of commencement: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan deposited in the District Lands and Survey Office, Auckland.
