222 Registrar’s Office, Auckland, 13th December, 1901.

WHEREAS by an Order in Council dated the 25th day of October, 1889, it was ordered and declared that the investigation and determination of the ownership of the land described in the Schedule hereto, and also the determination and individualisation of title to the said land, and the mode of granting the same, and any matter or question which during such investigation may arise in relation to the interests of Natives in the said land, should be and the same were thereby brought within the jurisdiction of the Native Land Court:

Now, notice is hereby given that, at a sitting to be held at Rawene, Hokianga, on the 17th day of January, 1902, the Court will proceed to inquire into and determine the several matters brought within its jurisdiction as hereinbefore recited.

SCHEDULE.

All that parcel of land in the District of Hokianga known as Section 9A, Block XII., Mangamuka Survey District, containing by admeasurement 150 acres, more or less. Bounded towards the north-west by Te Kume Stream; towards the east and south generally by the Oura River; and towards the west by the Otarihau Block: numbered 254 in red: 1200, 450, 400, 2455, and 470 links, be all the aforesaid linkages more or less.


Sitting of the Native Land Court at Auckland.

NOTICE is hereby given that a sitting of the Native Land Court will be held at the Native Land Court Office at Auckland on the 13th day of January, 1902, to hear and determine the matter mentioned in the Schedule hereunder written, in respect of which an application has been received by the Registrar, and all such other matters as may be lawfully brought before it.

Order under Section 39 of “The Native Land Court Act, 1894.”

IN THE NATIVE LAND COURT OF NEW ZEALAND.

In the matter of Mahoenui No. 2, and of the application of Te Rangituataka under section 39 of “The Native Land Court Act, 1894.”

WHEREAS the above application was referred by me to the Native Land Court for inquiry and report, and the same has been duly reported on: And whereas it appears that on the survey of Mahoenui No. 2 the piece of land known as Otiao, containing 306 acres, more or less, was by mistake included within the boundary of the said block, and the applicant and those claiming with him have by reason of such error been prejudicially affected in respect of their claim to the land erroneously included:

Now, therefore, for the purpose of rectifying the said error, and in exercise of the power in that behalf vested in me as Chief Judge of the Native Land Court by section 39 aforesaid, I hereby order that the order of the Court on the investigation of the title to Mahoenui No. 2 and all subsequent orders relating thereto, so far as affects the subject-matter of the above application, be amended by excluding therefrom the parcel of land erroneously included as aforesaid.

As witness my hand, this 18th day of December, 1901.
