Notifying Lands in Auckland for Sale by Public Auction.

RANFURLY, Governor.

IN pursuance of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the one-hundred-and-thirteenth section of “The Land Act, 1892,” I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby appoint Friday, the seventh day of March, one thousand nine hundred and two, as the time at which the lands enumerated in the Schedule hereto shall be sold by public auction; and I do hereby fix the prices at which the said lands shall be sold as those mentioned in the said Schedule hereto opposite the descriptions of such lands respectively.

SCHEDULE.

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.

Township of Ohiwa (Opotiki County).

Block II.: Sections 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, each 1 rood; upset price per section, £5.

Block III.: Sections 8, 9, 10 (Museum Endowment), each 1 rood; upset price, £5 per section.

Block IV.: Sections 7, 8, 9, 10, each 1 rood; upset price per section, £5.

This township lies at the deep-water steamer-landing, Ohiwa Harbour, about six miles from Opotiki.

Orahiri Survey District (Kawhia County).

Block VIII. (suburban areas): Sections 5 and 6, each 7 acres 2 roods; upset price per section, £22 10s. Sections 7, 10, 11, and 12, each 5 acres; upset price per section, £15. Sections 8 and 9, each 3 acres 23 perches; upset price per section, £9 7s. 6d. Open undulating lands; fair soil; from half to three-quarters of a mile from Otorohanga Railway-station.

IN pursuance of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the one-hundred-and-thirteenth section of “The Land Act, 1892,” I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby appoint Wednesday, the twenty-sixth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and two, as the time at which the lands enumerated in the Schedule hereto shall be sold by public auction at Taihape; and I do hereby fix the prices at which the said lands shall be sold as those mentioned in the said Schedule hereto opposite the descriptions of such lands respectively.

Torere Village is situated in the Awarua Block, on the left bank of the Hautapu River, between Mangaweka and Taihape. The access is either from the latter township, which is about four miles distant, or from Mangaweka, which is about twelve miles distant, by main coach-road, thence by the Torere Road on opposite side of river.

The sections comprise cleared and grassed flat land; the soil is of good quality, resting on papa formation.

Notifying Roads as closed through Lands in the Wallace County (Ringway Settlement).

RANFURLY, Governor.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers conferred by section sixty-nine of “The Land for Settlements Consolidation Act, 1900,” I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do by this notice hereby notify as closed the roads in the Wallace County hereinafter described, and do declare such road-lines to be subject to the said Act, that is to say:—

Additional Regulation under “The Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act, 1900.”

RANFURLY, Governor.

PURSUANT to and in exercise of the powers in this behalf conferred upon him by “The Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act, 1900,” His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, for the purposes of the said Act, doth hereby make the following additional regulation, that is to say,—

APPLICATION REQUIRING THE DISPUTE TO BE REFERRED TO THE COURT OF ARBITRATION.

  1. In order to avoid as far as possible unnecessary sittings of the Board, the application under section 21 of “The Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Amendment Act, 1901,” requiring a dispute to be referred to the Court of Arbitration, should be filed by the Clerk a reasonable time (say, two days, where practicable) previous to the day appointed for the hearing of such dispute by the Board.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this eighteenth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and one.
