to be the person to make up electors’ rolls for the Ridings of Greytown, Featherston, Western Lake, Kahutara, Otaraiа, Turanganui, Awhea, Pahaoa, and Martinborough, in the County of Featherston, as constituted under “The Counties Act, 1886,” and “The Featherston County Act, 1901”; also to be Returning Officer to conduct the first elections of members of the Council of the said county; and also to be the Clerk of the Featherston County Council for the purpose of presiding at the first meeting thereof.
