Removal of Restrictions on Alienation of Native Land.
RANFURLY, Governor.
WHEREAS application has been made to the Governor
by the owners of the land described in the Schedule
hereto, praying that the restrictions on the alienation
of such land, as set forth in the Crown grant bearing date
the sixteenth day of February, one thousand eight hundred
and eighty-one, may be removed: And whereas inquiry
has been duly made by the Native Land Court, and the said
Court has recommended that such restrictions be removed:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony
of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers
conferred upon him by the fifty-second section of "The
Native Land Court Act, 1894," and in accordance with the
recommendation of the Native Land Court, doth hereby
order and declare that all restrictions imposed by the said
Crown grant on the alienation of the said land are hereby
removed.
SCHEDULE.
All that parcel of land, containing 405 acres 3 roods
36 perches, more or less, situate in the Provincial District
of Taranaki, known as Section No. 409, Block XII., Wairoa
Survey District, held under Crown grant dated the 16th
February, 1881, containing the following restrictions: "In-
alienable by gift, sale, or by lease for a longer period than
twenty-one years, or by mortgage, except with the consent
of the Governor being first obtained to every such gift, sale,
lease, or mortgage."
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor,
this twenty-ninth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and two.

RANFURLY, Governor.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon
me by the sixth section of "The Land Act, 1892," I,
Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the
Colony of New Zealand, do hereby declare that from and
after the date hereof the notification issued on the twenty-
seventh day of January, one thousand nine hundred and
two, and published in Gazette No. 8, of the thirtieth day of
January, one thousand nine hundred and sixty-one, opening
lands in the Auckland Land District for sale or selection
under the provisions of Part III. of "The Land Act, 1892,"
shall be and the same is hereby revoked.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor,
this twenty-seventh day of February, one thousand nine hundred and two.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the sixth section of "The Ceme-
teries Act, 1882," I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly,
the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby
appoint
WILLIAM JOHN STARK
to be a Trustee, in the place of William W. Mackie, resigned,
to provide for the maintenance and care of the Waikoikoi
Public Cemetery, in conjunction with the other persons previously appointed by His Excellency the Governor.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor,
this twentieth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and two.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the sixth section of "The Cemeteries
Act, 1882," I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the
Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby appoint
ALBERT JAMES WATERWORTH
to be a Trustee, in the place of John McConnell, resigned,
to provide for the maintenance and care of the Highbank
Public Cemetery, in conjunction with the other persons
previously appointed by His Excellency the Governor.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor,
this twentieth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and two.

Notice of Appointment of Medical Practitioner under "The Workers' Compensation for Accidents Act, 1900."
RANFURLY, Governor.
IN pursuance of the powers conferred by "The Workers'
Compensation for Accidents Act, 1900," and of all other
powers and authorities enabling me in this behalf, I, Uchter
John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony
of New Zealand, do hereby appoint
EDWARD JOHN ROBERTS, M.B.,
of Nelson, to be a Medical Practitioner for the purposes of
the said Act.
