thence towards the west by the said Railway Reserve to the Borough of Avenal; thence again towards the north by the said Borough of Avenal, as described in the New Zealand Gazette No. 44, 16th May, 1878, to the eastern side of Kelvin Road; thence again towards the west by the said Borough of Avenal and Section No. 29, Block I., Invercargill Hundred; again towards the north by Sections Nos. 24 and 23, Block I. aforesaid; towards the east by the western side of the road forming the eastern boundary of Section No. 22, Block I. aforesaid, and by the Borough of East Invercargill, as described in the New Zealand Gazette No. 35, 25th April, 1878, and by the eastern side of the road forming the western boundaries of Sections Nos. 8 and 14, Block I., Invercargill Hundred; towards the south by the southern side of the road forming the northern boundary of Section No. 1, Block III., Invercargill Hundred, and the southern side of that road produced to the Waihopai Estuary; and towards the west by the Waihopai Estuary to the place of commencement.

Regulations (Additional) under “The Municipal Corporations Act, 1900.”

RANFURLY, Governor.

IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred on him by “The Municipal Corporations Act, 1900,” His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand doth hereby make the following additional regulations under that Act:—

REGULATIONS.

  1. The special roll to be used under section 125 of “The Municipal Corporations Act, 1900,” for taking a poll in respect of part of a borough shall be prepared by the Town Clerk from the district electors roll at least one week before the date fixed for taking the poll, and shall be in the form set forth in the Schedule hereto.

  2. Such special roll, after correction of any errors therein, shall be signed by the Mayor and not less than two Councillors, who shall certify thereon that it is correct.

No. Surname and Christian Name. Occupation. Qualification, whether Freehold or Rating. Situation of Property. Whether Qualification in own Right or in Right of Husband or Wife.
