A. R. P. 0 0 16¼ Lots 10 and 11 of Dannevirke Suburban Section 20 Dannevirke.
0 0 9¾ Lot 3 of Dannevirke Suburban Section 20 Dannevirke.

All in the Land District of Hawke’s Bay; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked 11427, deposited in the office of the Minister for Railways, at Wellington, in the Provincial District of Wellington, and thereon coloured blue and green.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly; Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George; Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Colony of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Colony, at the Government House, at Wellington, this twelfth day of December, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and two.

Additional Land taken in Blackstone Survey District for the Purposes of the Otago Central Railway.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the Otago Central Railway to take further land in Blackstone Survey District, in addition to land previously acquired for the purposes of the said railway:

Now, therefore, I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections twenty-eight and one hundred and sixty-seven of “The Public Works Act, 1894,” and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is taken for the purposes above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly; Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George; Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Colony of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Colony, at the Government House, at Wellington, this twelfth day of December, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and two.

Land taken for a Road through Sections 14, 17, 18, and 19, Block II., Ngai re Survey District, Stratford County.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken, under “The Public Works Act, 1894,” for a certain public work, to wit, the construction of a road through Sections 14, 17, 18, and 19, Block II., Ngai re Survey District, Stratford County :

And whereas an agreement for the taking of the estate in fee-simple of the said land has been entered into, and it has been made to appear that such agreement is sufficient for the purposes intended to be effected thereby :

And whereas a plan has been prepared in duplicate showing accurately the position and extent of the said land, and the Minister for Public Works has recommended that this Proclamation should be issued :

Now, therefore, I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in me by “The Public Works Act, 1894,” and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that, from and after the date of the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a road as aforesaid.

Resuming Land held under Lease for the Purpose of Preservation of Scenery.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by section one hundred and twenty-five of “The Land Act, 1892” (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it is, inter alia, enacted that the Governor in Council may, by Proclamation, resume possession of any land leased under Part III. of the said Act which in his opinion is required for any public purpose :

And whereas the land described in the Schedule hereto forms part of land which is held on lease in perpetuity from His Majesty the King under Part III. of the said Act, dated the third day of November, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-two :

And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor, the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is required for a public purpose—that is to say, for the purpose of preservation of scenery :

Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by “The Land Act, 1892,” and of all other powers and authorities in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, do hereby proclaim and declare that I hereby resume possession
