Land taken for a Portion of the Branch Line of the Foxton-New Plymouth Railway from Stratford to a Point at or near Wangamomona (Toko Section).

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken for a portion of the branch line of the Foxton-New Plymouth Railway from Stratford to a point at or near Wangamomona—namely, the Toko Section:

And whereas all conditions precedent required by law to be observed and performed prior to the taking of such land in the manner hereby provided have been observed and performed:

Now, therefore, I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by section one hundred and sixty-seven of “The Public Works Act, 1894,” and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is taken for the portion of the said line of railway hereinbefore specified.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly; Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George; Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Colony of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Colony, at the Government House, at Wellington, this fourth day of November, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and one.

Proclaiming Road as closed through Lands in Block V., Heringa Survey District, Pelorus Road District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers conferred by section thirteen of “The Land Act, 1892,” I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do by this notice hereby proclaim as closed the road in the Pelorus Road District hereinafter described, that is to say,—

Area of the Portions of Roads closed. Being a Road bounding Section No. Block and Survey District. Shown on Plan marked Coloured on Plan
