In the matter of “The Companies Act, 1882,” and the Mahinapua Gold-dredging Company (Limited).
NOTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary general meeting of the above-named company held at Wellington on the 30th day of August, 1901, the following resolutions were passed, and confirmed as special resolutions at an extraordinary general meeting of the company held at Wellington on the 17th day of September, 1901: “That it has been proved to the satisfaction of this meeting that the company cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up the same, and accordingly that the company be wound up voluntarily.” “That Mr. James W. Jack be appointed Liquidator of the company at a remuneration of £50.”

THE JUTLAND FLAT (WAIPORI) GOLD-MINING COMPANY (LIMITED).
NOTICE is hereby given, in pursuance of section 202 of “The Companies Act, 1882,” that a General Meeting of the members of the above-named company will be held at A. Bartleman’s office, Rattray Street, Dunedin, on Friday, the 22nd day of November, 1901, at 12 o’clock noon, for the purpose of having an account laid before them showing the manner in which the winding-up has been conducted and the property of the company disposed of, and of hearing any explanation that may be given by the Liquidators, and also of determining by extraordinary resolution the manner in which the books, accounts, and documents of the company, and of the liquidation thereof, shall be disposed of.

I, HENRY ALDBOROUGH STRATFORD, of Dunedin, in the Colony of New Zealand, Barrister-at-law, Stipendiary Magistrate, &c., &c., do hereby give notice that, in compliance with the request of the Honourable Lady Henniker, and out of love and affection, I have assumed, and intend henceforth upon all occasions and at all times to sign and use and to be called and known by, the name of Augustus with and before Henry Aldborough, and the surname of His Excellency the Right Honourable Lord Hartismere — Stratford-Henniker—in lieu of and in substitution of my present surname of Stratford; and such assumption of names is formally declared and evidenced by deed poll under my hand and seal intended to be forthwith enrolled in the Central Office of the High Court of Judicature, London.
In testimony hereof I hereby sign and express myself by my said so assumed surname.
