Private Advertisements.

In the matter of “The Companies Act, 1882”; and in the matter of the Town and Suburban Racing and Sports Company (Limited), (in Liquidation).

NOTICE is hereby given, in pursuance of section 202 of “The Companies Act, 1882,” that, the affairs of the above-mentioned company having been fully wound up, a General Meeting of the company will be held on Wednesday, the 6th day of November, 1901, at 2 o’clock p.m., at the Criterion Hotel, Napier, for the purpose of having laid before it the account of the Liquidator showing the manner in which the winding-up has been conducted and the property of the company disposed of, and of hearing any explanation that may be given by the Liquidator, and also of determining by extraordinary resolution the manner in which the books, accounts, and documents of the company, and of the Liquidator thereof, shall be disposed of.

NOTICE is hereby given that, in pursuance of section 202 of “The Companies Act, 1882,” a General Meeting of the members of the above-named company will be held at the company’s office on the 23rd day of October, 1901, at 7 p.m., for the purpose of having an account laid before them showing the manner in which the winding-up has been conducted and the property of the company disposed of, and of hearing any explanation that may be given by the Liquidator, and also of determining by extraordinary resolution the manner in which the books, accounts, and documents of the company, and of the Liquidator thereof, shall be disposed of.

WAIMEA COUNTY COUNCIL.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR A ROAD.

IN pursuance of section 17, subsection (3), of “The Public Works Act, 1894,” it is hereby notified that it is the intention of the Waimea County Council to take certain lands for a public road—viz., part of Section 67, Block X., Motueka Survey District, in the Land District of Nelson, as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan deposited at the Post-office, Ngatimoti. And all persons interested in the said land are hereby required to set forth in writing any well-grounded objection to the taking of such lands, and to forward such writing to the Chairman of the Council within forty days from the first publication of this notice.

NOTICE is hereby given that a General Meeting of shareholders in the Greymouth Gas Company (Limited) will be held at my office, Werita Street, Greymouth, on Monday, 30th September, 1901, at 7.30 p.m., for the purpose of having laid before them the accounts and report of the Liquidator in connection with the voluntary winding-up of the company.
