In the matter of the Table Hill Gold-mining Company (Limited).
AT an extraordinary general meeting of the members of the above-named company, duly convened, and held at Dunedin on the 30th day of July, 1901, the following extraordinary resolution was duly passed :—
“That it has been proved to the satisfaction of this meeting that the company cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up the same, and accordingly that the company be wound up voluntarily, and George Calder, of Dunedin, be and he is hereby appointed Liquidator for the purposes of such winding-up.”

APPLICATION FOR LICENSE FOR A WATER-RACE.
To the Warden of the Otago Mining District at Roxburgh.
PURSUANT to “The Mining Act, 1898,” the undersigned John Harry Waigth, of Roxburgh, Fruit-grower, hereby applies for a license for a water-race as specified in the Schedule hereto, the course whereof has been duly marked out for the purpose.
Date and number of miner’s right: 26th July, 1901; 24357.
Address for service: Jabez Burton, Mining Agent, Roxburgh.
Dated at Roxburgh, this 27th day of July, 1901.
SCHEDULE.
Locality of the race, and of its starting and terminal points: Block X., Teviot Survey District; commencing in No. 3 Creek, north of Roxburgh, in Section 5, about 30 yards above the road-line, and terminating in Section 38, Block II., Teviot Survey District.
Length and intended course of race: 2½ chains; west to east; to be conveyed in iron fluming.
Points of intake: At head only.
Estimated time and cost of construction: Six months; £15.
Mean depth and breadth: 1 ft. deep, 2 ft. wide.
Number of heads to be diverted: One.
Purpose for which the water is to be used: Irrigation for fruit-growing purposes.
Proposed term of license: Forty-two years.

That the Greymouth Lagoons Gold-dredging Company (No Liability), a duly incorporated company registered in the State of New South Wales under “The Companies Act, 1889,” proposes to carry on business in New Zealand, and that George Stephen Cray and Thomas William Ponsonby, Esquires, are the duly appointed Attorneys and Representatives in and for the Colony of New Zealand of the said Greymouth Lagoons Gold-dredging Company (No Liability).

That the power of attorney appointing the said George Stephen Cray and Thomas William Ponsonby has been duly registered in the office of the Registrar of the Supreme Court at Hokitika.
