NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership subsisting between us, the undersigned SAMUEL CROW, SAMUEL PEARCE EATON, and ALEXANDER CROW, all of Dunedin, carrying on business as Woollen Importers and Warehousemen at Dunedin aforesaid, under the style of “Eaton, Crow, and Co.,” was, on the nineteenth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and one, dissolved by mutual consent.
All debts due to and owing by the late firm will be received and paid by the undersigned Samuel Pearce Eaton and Alexander Crow, by whom the business will in future be carried on.

CHRISTCHURCH CITY COUNCIL.
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR PURPOSES OF A “PUBLIC WORK.”
NOTICE is hereby given that the Christchurch City Council, on behalf of the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Christchurch, incorporated under “The Municipal Corporations Act, 1900,” intends, under the provisions of “The Christchurch City Borrowing Act, 1899,” “The Municipal Corporations Act, 1900,” “The Public Health Act, 1900,” “The Public Works Act, 1894,” and every other authority enabling it in that behalf, to execute a certain “public work”—namely, to provide a central yard, and erect such buildings thereon as are necessary in connection with the destruction of rubbish, or for storing, housing, and preserving machinery, stock, tools, plant, and material belonging to or used by the Council, or necessary and convenient for the proper performance of the duties devolving upon the Council under the said Acts—and that for the purpose of such “public work” the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken.
And notice is hereby further given that, by direction of the said Council, a plan showing the land so required to be taken and the names of the owners and occupiers of the said land, so far as such names can be ascertained, is deposited in the public office of the said Christchurch City Council, situate at the junction of Worcester Street and Oxford Terrace, in the said city, and is there open for inspection.
And the said Council hereby calls upon all persons affected by the execution of the said “public work” or by the taking of the said land to set forth in writing any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said works or the taking of such land, and to send such writing within forty days from the first publication of this notice to the said Christchurch City Council, at its said office.

NOTICE OF INTENTION OF THE NGATAPA ROAD DISTRICT BOARD TO TAKE LAND FOR A ROAD UNDER “THE PUBLIC WORKS ACT, 1894.”
NOTICE is given that it is the intention of the Ngatapa Road District Board, under the provisions of “The Public Works Act, 1894,” to take the parcel of land mentioned in the Schedule hereto for the purpose of a public road. A plan of the said land is open for inspection between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. at the homestead of the Ngatapa Station, Ngatapa, Poverty Bay.
All persons affected by the above proposal are hereby called upon to set forth in writing any well-grounded objections to the taking of the said land, and to send such writing within forty days from the date hereof to the office of the said Board at Gisborne.

I, FLORENCE ARMSTRONG, Doctor of Medicine, Chicago, Ill., U.S.A., now residing in Christchurch, hereby give notice that I intend applying on the 16th August next to have my name placed on the Medical Register of the Colony of New Zealand, and that I have deposited the evidence of my qualifications in the office of the Registrar at Christchurch.
