APPLICATION FOR LICENSE FOR A WATER-RACE.

To the Warden of the Hauraki Mining District, at Thames.
PURSUANT to “The Mining Act, 1898,” the under-signed Peter Macfarlane, of Neavesville, Contractor, hereby applies for a license for a water-race as specified in the Schedule hereto, the course whereof has been duly marked out for the purpose.
Date and number of miner’s right: 26th November, 1900; No. 19525.
Address for service: Care of Edwin Clendon, Solicitor, Thames.
Dated at Thames, this 7th day of January, 1901.

Neavesville, Pakirarahi Block No. 1. Starting-point: At a point on the Salvation Creek at the termination of the Chelmsford Water-race, on the Chelmsford Battery site. Terminal point: About three-quarters of a mile lower down the said Salvation Creek. Pegs marked — Three-quarters of a mile. North-east. Twelve months. £700. 18 in. and 18 in. Six. Mining purposes. Forty-two years.

In the matter of the Klondyke Gold-dredging Company (Limited).

AT an extraordinary general meeting of the above-named company, duly convened, and held at the Dunedin Stock Exchange, Colonial Bank Buildings, Dunedin, on the 27th day of November, 1900, the following special resolution was duly passed; and at a subsequent extraordinary general meeting of the members of the said company, also duly convened, and held at the same place on the 14th day of December, 1900, the following resolution was duly confirmed: viz., “That the company be wound up voluntarily.” And at such last-mentioned meeting George Frederick Jeffery, of Dunedin, Mining Agent, was appointed Liquidator for the purposes of the winding-up.
