Land set apart for State Forest Purposes in the Land District of Wellington.

A PROCLAMATION.

BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by “The New Zealand State Forests Act, 1885,” and of every other power and authority enabling me in that behalf, I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, do hereby set apart the land described in the Schedule hereto, forming part of the Crown lands in New Zealand, as and for a State Forest within the provisions of the said Act.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that parcel of land in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 997 acres 1 rood 15 perches, more or less, being Section No. 291, Block X., Wainuioru Survey District. Bounded towards the north by a public road; towards the east by Section No. 292; towards the south by Part 1 of Section No. 293; and towards the west by Section No. 290: as the same is delineated on the plan deposited in the office of the Chief Surveyor, Wellington.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly; Knight Commander of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George; Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Colony of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Colony, at the Government House, at Wellington, this first day of June, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and one.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon me by the one-hundred-and-sixty-eighth section of “The Land Act, 1892,” I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the allotments of Crown lands respectively described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same are hereby set apart for sale or lease as village settlements.
