WELLINGTON DISTRICT.

In the matter of “The Companies Act, 1882,” and its amendments; and in the matter of the Waitotara Public Hall Company (Limited).

B Y an order made by Charles Cargill Kettle, Esq., Registrar of the Supreme Court of New Zealand for the Judicial District of Wellington, located at Wanganui, acting under the powers conferred on him by Proclamation under “The Supreme Court Practice and Procedure Act, 1893,” published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 82, on the second day of November, 1893, at page 1557, and all other powers in that behalf him enabling, at his chambers, Supreme Court House, Wanganui, in the above matter, dated the twenty-second day of May, 1901, upon the petition of William Brewer and Emerson James Wilson, of Waitotara, Farmers, and Alfred Walton Curry, of Waitotara, Storekeeper, it was ordered that the said Waitotara Public Hall Company (Limited) be wound up by this Court under the provisions of “The Companies Act, 1882,” and its amendments, and that a copy of this order be served on James William Durie, of Waitotara, a director of the said company; and it was further ordered that Ernest Barns, of Wanganui, Accountant, be Official Liquidator of the above-named company, without giving security, and it was declared that all the acts required or authorised by the above statutes to be done by the Official Liquidator may be done by the Official Liquidator hereby appointed, without the previous sanction or interference of this Court; and it was ordered that the said Ernest Barns do, on the twenty-eighth day of August, 1901, and on the same day in each succeeding month, leave his accounts at the chambers of the said Charles Cargill Kettle, Esq., Supreme Court House, Wanganui; and it was ordered that all moneys to be received by the said Ernest Barns shall be paid by him into the National Bank of New Zealand, to the credit of the account of the Official Liquidator of the said company, within seven days from the receipt thereof; and it was declared that the Official Liquidator may appoint (William Corry, Esq., Solicitor) a solicitor to assist him in the performance of his duties.
