The buildings on the reserve are valued at £80. Access by Ohura dray-road. Distant from Strathmore Township about ten miles and a half.

The improvements comprise—60 acres in grass, £75; 20 chains fencing, £12; hut, £3.

A small portion flat, the balance is rough pastoral land; mostly covered with bush, consisting of rata, tawa, rimu, &c., with the usual undergrowth. A house has been erected on the section. The soil rests on a papa formation, and is well watered. Distant about two miles from Tongaporutu by Hutiwai Bridle-road. The improvements comprise—house, £60; and 7 acres in grass, £13 2s. 6d.

About two miles from Pukearuhe, via Gilbert Road. The land is broken, with one large gully; about one-third good land, balance broken spurs, fit only for pastoral purposes. The soil is fair, and is well watered, resting upon a papa formation. The land is wholly covered with bush, consisting of kahikatea on the flats, and rata, rimu, tawa, and towhai on the spurs, with thick undergrowth.

Fair pastoral land, about 20 acres frontage swampy; partly bush and partly in grass; papa formation; well watered. Access by Ohura Road, the Railway Reserve occupying the frontage. Distance from Strathmore, about four miles. The improvements comprise—70 acres in grass, half overgrown with scrub and fern, £105; 62 chains of fencing, £43 8s.; and hut, £10.

Access from New Plymouth will be by the Moki Road, which will be the main road from this part of the province to the sea-coast; the south-east corner is within a quarter of a mile of the Ohura Road, now formed as a dray-road, and distant about fifty-seven miles from Stratford.
