Mining Notices.

NOTICE is hereby given that a General Meeting of the shareholders of the above-named company will be held at the registered office of the company, 14, Bond Street, Dunedin, on Monday, 4th March, 1901, at 5 o’clock in the afternoon, for the purpose of having an account laid before them showing the manner in which the winding-up has been conducted and the property of the company disposed of, and of hearing any explanation that may be given by the Liquidator; and also of determining by extraordinary resolution the manner in which the books, accounts, and documents of the company and of the Liquidator shall be disposed of.

THE SPEC GULLY GOLD-DREDGING COMPANY (LIMITED).
NOTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary general meeting of the Spec Gully Gold-dredging Company (Limited), held at the registered office of the company, Princes Street, Dunedin, on Friday, the 4th day of January, 1901, at 2.30 o’clock in the afternoon, the subjoined resolutions, which were passed at the extraordinary general meeting of the company held on the 12th December, 1900, were submitted as a special resolution and confirmed.

RESOLUTIONS.
I. RESOLVED, with regard to the resolutions passed and confirmed at meetings of this company held on the 15th day of October and the 1st day of November, 1900, that is to say,—
Resolution.
- That the capital of the company be increased to £6,000, divided into 6,000 shares of £1 each.
- That the existing shareholders of the company be entitled to 2,000 of the said 6,000 shares of £1 each, in place of the 4,000 shares of £1 each at present held by them, and that each of the said 2,000 shares shall be deemed to be fully paid up to £1.
- That the company proceed forthwith to mine for gold by dredging with the company’s dredge at or near Waimumu, in the Provincial District of Otago, New Zealand, and that the directors, for that purpose, be authorised to acquire from David John Bews, of Dunedin, all his interest in an agreement of option, dated the 19th day of September, 1900, made between Joseph Burrell of the one part and the said D. J. Bews of the other part.
- That, of the remaining 4,000 shares of £1 each, 1,600 shares (which shall be deemed to be fully paid up to £1 each) shall be allotted to the said D. J. Bews or his nominees in part payment for his interest in the said agreement of option, and the other 2,400 shares shall be issued at par as contributing shares,—
(a.) That the said resolution Number 2 be and the same is hereby rescinded.
(b.) That, as said resolution Number 1 effected an increase in the company’s capital from £4,000 to £6,000, divided into 6,000 shares of £1 each, which have been numbered consecutively from 4,001 to 6,000, inclusive, the same is hereby confirmed.
(c.) That, as none of the said 1,600 shares to be allotted to D. J. Bews or his nominees, as mentioned in the said Resolution 4, have been so allotted, and as of the 2,000 new shares mentioned in this resolution the whole have not yet been allotted, the same resolution Number 4 be and the same is
