I, ROBERT ALLAN CAMERON, Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery, 1901, of the University of Edinburgh, now residing in Wellington, hereby give notice that I intend applying on the 6th of May next to have my name placed on the Medical Register for the Colony of New Zealand; and that I have deposited the evidence of my qualification in the office of the Registrar-General.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership hitherto existing between the undersigned has been dissolved, as from the 1st day of October last, so far as concerns the undersigned, WILLIAM E. A. HICKSON.
The business will be continued by the undersigned, JAMES M. TURNBULL and WILLIAM L. PALMER, under the firm or style of “Turnbull and Palmer,” by whom all the liabilities of the late firm will be discharged, and to whom all amounts owing to the late firm must be paid.

IN LIQUIDATION.
THE COMMERCIAL TRUST AND LOAN COMPANY OF WELLINGTON (LIMITED).
NOTICE is hereby given that at the extraordinary general meeting of the above-named company, duly convened in accordance with the law, and held on the 14th March, 1901, the following resolutions were passed: 1st, That this company be voluntarily wound up as from the 1st April, 1901; that James Jamieson, secretary, is now and is hereby appointed Liquidator for the winding-up of said company; and that the present directors (five in number) are hereby vested with fullest powers to act with the Liquidator for the purposes of either continuing or discontinuing the operations of the said company during its winding-up, as in their opinions and judgment may be deemed best for the interests of the said company. 2nd, That a special general meeting of the company be held at the same time and place, on the 29th instant, for confirming the above. And, further, that at the special general meeting of the company duly convened, and held on 29th March, 1901, the aforesaid resolutions were confirmed in accordance with the provisions of section 86 of “The Companies Act, 1882.”

WAIPAWA COUNTY COUNCIL.
LAND REQUIRED FOR A PUBLIC ROAD.
PURSUANT to the provisions of “The Public Works Act, 1894,” and the amendments, it is hereby notified that the Waipawa County Council require the land described hereunder for the purposes of a public road. A plan marked 163, showing position of the same, will be open for public inspection at the office of Mr. Campbell Thomson, situate in Dannevirke, in the County of Waipawa, at all reasonable hours, for a period of forty days from the date hereof. All persons affected by the taking of the land are hereby called upon to set forth in writing any well-grounded objections thereto, and to serve the same upon the County Clerk, at Waipawa, before the expiration of forty days from the date hereof.
Description of Land.
All that piece or parcel of land situated in the County of Waipawa, containing 1 acre and 22 4/10 perches, be the same a little more or less, and being part of Lot 31, part of the Umutaoroa Block, and part of the land comprised in certificate of title, Vol. xxxiii., folio 48; which said parcel of land is shown on a plan marked 163 (and thereon coloured pink) now on view for a period of forty days from this date at the office of Mr. Campbell Thomson, situate at Dannevirke.
