A PROCLAMATION.
BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the one-hundred-and-seventy-second section of “The Land Act, 1892,” and of every other power and authority enabling me in that behalf, I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby declare that the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto shall be subject to the provisions of sections one hundred and seventy-two to one hundred and eighty-six of Part V. of “The Land Act, 1892,” relating to small grazing-runs.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers conferred by the one-hundred-and-sixty-second section of “The Land Act, 1892,” and of all other powers and authorities enabling me in this behalf, I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do by this notice hereby revoke that part of a Proclamation dated the twenty-first day of December, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-six, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No.1, dated the seventh day of January, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-seven, setting apart land for the Mangatiti Improved Small-farm Settlement, in so far as it relates to the land set forth in the Schedule hereto.

Defining the Middle Line of a Further Portion of the Otago Central Railway (Ophir Section).

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the Otago Central Railway (hereinafter termed “the said railway”) is a railway the construction of which is authorised by “The Public Works Act, 1879”: And whereas the said railway has been partly constructed, and it has been determined to construct and maintain a further portion of the same:
Now, therefore, I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities conferred by “The Public Works Act, 1894,” and in exercise of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the middle line of the said further portion of the said railway shall be that defined and set forth in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
OTAGO CENTRAL RAILWAY (OPHIR SECTION).
COMMENCING in the railway reserve at a point on the eastern boundary of the district road distant about 11 chains in a south-westerly direction from the north-western corner of Section No. 4, Block IV., Lauder Survey District, which point is also the terminal point of a portion of the Otago Central Railway as described in a Proclamation dated the 28th day of September, 1900, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 85, of the 4th day of October, 1900; proceeding thence generally in a south-westerly direction for a distance of about 7 miles 12 chains, and passing in, into, through, or over the following lands—viz., railway reserve, Sections Nos. 10, 14, 8, 12, 11, and railway reserve, Block IV., Lauder Survey District; railway reserve and Section No. 53, Block III., Lauder Survey District; railway reserve, Sections Nos. 28a and 23, and railway reserve, Block II., Tiger Hill Survey District; railway reserve, Section No. 17, railway reserve, Section No. 18, railway reserve, Section No. 55, railway reserve, and Section No. 33, Block I., Tiger Hill Survey District—and terminating at a point in said Section No. 33 distant about 10 chains in a south-westerly direction from the north-eastern corner of said Section No. 33: including all adjoining and intervening places, lands, reserves, roads, rivers, streams, and watercourses: all in the Land District of Otago: as the same is shown by a red line on the plan marked P.W.D. 19175, deposited in the office of the Minister for Public Works, at Wellington, in the Provincial District of Wellington.

WHEREAS it is provided by section three of “The Harbours Act Amendment Act, 1883,” that the powers conferred by the seventeenth section of “The Harbours Act, 1878,” may be exercised from time to time:
And whereas by Orders in Council dated the fourth day of December, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-nine, the Coastal Steamship Company (Limited) was authorised to construct a wharf on the Mahurangi River, as shown on plans marked M.D. 2317 and 2318:
And whereas it is desirable that dues and rates should be prescribed for the use of the said wharf:
