BOROUGH OF GREYMOUTH.

SPECIAL ORDER.

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that, at a special meeting of the Council called for the purpose, and held at the Council Chambers, Gresson Street, Greymouth, on Thursday, the 10th January, 1901, by way of special order the following resolution was adopted, viz.:—

“That all subdivisions in the Borough of Greymouth be abolished, as provided in clause 182, subsection (3), (a), of ‘The Municipal Corporations Act, 1900.’”

And I further give public notice that the above resolution was confirmed at a special meeting held for the purpose at the Council Chambers, Gresson Street, Greymouth, on Thursday, the 14th February, 1901, at 8 o’clock p.m.

I, MAUI WIREMU PITI NAERA POMARE, Doctor of Medicine of the American Medical Missionary College of Chicago, U.S., now residing in Auckland, hereby give notice that I intend applying on the 15th March next to have my name placed on the Medical Register for the Colony of New Zealand; and that I have deposited the evidence of my qualification in the office of the Registrar at Auckland.

THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE.

SUBSCRIPTIONS.—The subscription is at the rate of 30s. per annum, PAYABLE IN ADVANCE. A less period than three months cannot be subscribed for.

Single copies of the Gazette, 6d. each.

Advertisements are charged at the rate of 6d. per line for the first insertion, and 3d. per line for the second and any subsequent insertion.

Statements under the Mining Act are uniformly charged 23s.

All advertisements should be written on one side of the paper, and signatures, &c., should be written in a legible hand.

The number of insertions required must be written across the face of the advertisement.

The New Zealand Gazette is published on Thursday evening in each week, and notices for insertion must be received by the Government Printer before three o’clock of the day preceding publication.

Communications should be addressed to the Government Printer, Wellington, to whom post-office money-orders should be made payable. Cheques should be crossed “Public a/c,” and exchange added.

Postage- or duty-stamps cannot be received in payment from any place at which postal notes or post-office orders are issued.

Prepayment may be demanded in any case. In order to prevent delay in publication a sufficient remittance should accompany every advertisement. Any surplus will be returned with receipted account.
