Small Grazing-runs, Kaikoura County, open for Selection.

THE under-mentioned small grazing-runs will be open
for selection at the District Lands and Survey Office,
Blenheim, and the Land Office, Kaikoura, on and after
Monday, the 25th February, 1901.

If more than one application be received for the same run
on the same day, then the order of selection shall be decided
by ballot on Wednesday, the 27th February, 1901, at 11 a.m.,
at the Land Office, Kaikoura.

SCHEDULE.

MARLBOROUGH LAND DISTRICT.—KAIKOURA COUNTY.

• Interest and sinking fund on hut, valued at £15, repayable in
  seven years by half-yearly instalments of £1 5s. 11d. Total half-
  yearly payment for Run No. 109, £97 4s.

† Interest and sinking fund on buildings, valued at £780, repay-
able in fourteen years by half-yearly instalments of £39 7s. 10d.
Total half-yearly payment for Run No. 111, £148 15s. 9d.

‡ Interest and sinking fund on buildings, valued at £160, repayable
in ten years by half-yearly instalments of £10 7s. 3d. Total half-
yearly payment for Run No. 112, £63 11s. 8d.

§ Reserve A, 1,003 acres (stock reserve), is offered for lease for
fourteen years only, and the tenant is to be bound to depasture
travelling stock at the rates specified in pamphlet.

Terms of Sale.

One-fifth of the purchase-money to be paid on the fall of
the hammer, and the balance, with Crown-grant fee, within
thirty days thereafter; otherwise the part of the purchase-
money paid by way of deposit will be forfeited, and the
contract for the sale of the land be null and void.

There are no restrictions or limitations imposed on the
purchasers of these sections other than above mentioned.

Runs Nos. 135 and 135A: Situated in the Taringatura Sur-
vey District, County of Southland. Bounded towards the
north by Sections 263 and 269, Taringatura Survey District;
towards the east by Run 149; towards the south by Sec-
tion 119, Taringatura Survey District; and towards the
west by Section 117, Taringatura District.

Run No. 190c: Situated in the Eyre Survey District,
County of Southland. Bounded towards the north by
Run 190b; towards the east by Run 190b; towards the
south by road-lines; towards the south-west and west by
the Oreti River and by Section 58, Eyre Survey District.

Run No. 257: Situated in the Mokoreta Survey District,
County of Southland. Bounded towards the north by the
educational endowment and by Run 161A; towards the
east by Crown lands; towards the south by a road-line, by
Sections 9, 11, and 10, Block XIII., Mokoreta Survey Dis-
trict, by the Waikawa River, and by road-lines; towards
the west by Sections 6, 12, 11, and 10, Block VII., Mokoreta
Survey District, by Section 7, Block IX., Mokoreta Survey
District, and by Crown lands: excepting all timber-covered
land within the above boundaries.

Run No. 323A: Situated in the Kingston and Rockyside
Survey District, County of Southland. Bounded towards the north by a pre-emptive right, by Kingston Township, by
Sections 1 and 2, and Cemetery Reserve, Block I., Kingston
Survey District, and by Lake Wakatipu; towards the north-
east by Crown lands; towards the south-east by Runs 359
and 447; towards the south-west by Run 214c, by Sections
10, 11, 18, and 19, Block III., Kingston Survey District, by
Section 4, Block II., Kingston Survey District, and by the
Mataura River; towards the west by the Invercargill and
Kingston Railway.

Run No. 475: Situated in the County of Fiord. Bounded
towards the north by Dusky Sound and Cascade Cove;
towards the east by Run 492; towards the south by Chalky
or Dark Cloud Inlet; towards the west by the ocean.

Run No. 493: Situated in Waimumu Hundred, County of
Southland. Bounded towards the north by Sections 32, 17,
and 16, Waimumu Hundred; towards the east and south-
east by Sections 24 and 23, Waimumu Hundred; and
towards the south-west by Crown lands.

Possession will be given on the 1st March, 1902.

The purchaser must deposit a statutory declaration as
required by section 195 of “The Land Act, 1892,” and pay
the sum of the half-year’s rent and the license-fee on the
fall of the hammer. Valuation for improvements must be
paid to the Receiver of Land Revenue before the licensee will
be let into possession.
