DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership lately
subsisting between us, the undersigned HENRY OAKES
RAMSDEN and EDWARD JAMES USSHER, as General Storekeepers
at Martinborough, under the firm of "Ramsden and Ussher,"
was on the 18th day of January, 1901, dissolved by mutual
consent, and the business will in the future be carried on by
the said Henry Oakes Ramsden, and that all debts due and
owing to or by the late firm will be received and paid by the
said Henry Oakes Ramsden.

IN pursuance of the provisions of "The Rating on Un-
improved Value Act, 1896," I, Herbert Clifford Barclay, Mayor of Waimate, do hereby give public notice that
the result of the poll taken on the 11th day of January,
1901, on the following proposal—viz., "That 'The Rating
on Unimproved Value Act, 1896,' be adopted in the Borough
of Waimate, and that henceforth property be rated upon the
basis of the unimproved value thereof"—is as follows :—

Foreign Companies Act, 1884," notice is hereby given
that MICHAEL GEORGE PHELAN, of Wellington, has been
appointed the Attorney of the Canada Cycle and Motor
Cycle Company (Limited) for all purposes connected with
the business in New Zealand of the said company (save and
except the branch thereof known as the "Massey-Harris
