do hereby revoke the scale of tolls hereinbefore mentioned,
and in lieu thereof do hereby authorise and fix the charges
named in the Schedule hereto as the tolls to be levied on
the Mokau Ferry in the several cases and between the
hours specified in the said Schedule.

Wellington, Nelson, Canterbury, Otago, and Southland.
RANFURLY, Governor.
WHEREAS by the two-hundred-and-thirty-fifth section
of “The Land Act, 1892,” it is enacted that the
Governor may from time to time, either by general or particular description, and whether the same has been surveyed
or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that
the same may be then held under pastoral license, any
Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of
the purposes in the said section mentioned:
Now, therefore, I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly,
the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise and
pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in me by
the said Act, do hereby temporarily reserve from sale the
lands in the Land Districts of Auckland, Wellington, Nelson,
Canterbury, Otago, and Southland described in the Schedule hereunder written, for the purposes in the said
Schedule specified at the end of the descriptions respectively
of the lands so intended to be temporarily reserved.
SCHEDULE.
AUCKLAND.
All that area in the Auckland Land District, containing
by admeasurement 15 acres 2 roods 16 perches, more or
less, situated in Block IV., Mangonui Survey District.
Bounded towards the north generally by the road from
Taipa to Mangonui; towards the north-west by Lot No. 133,
Mangonui Parish, 1020 links; towards the south by a due-east line, 2020 links; and towards the east by a due-north line, 720 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated upon the plan marked S.G. 47696,
deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and
Survey, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and
thereon coloured red. For a site for a cable-station.
All that area in the Auckland Land District, containing
by admeasurement 1 acre, more or less, being Section No. 10
of Block LI. of the Town of Rotorua. Bounded towards the
north by Section No. 6 of Block LI. of the Town of Rotorua, 125 links; towards the east by Section No. 11 of the
same block, 200 links; towards the south by Meade Street,
125 links; and towards the west by Section No. 9 of
Block LI. aforesaid, 200 links, to the point of commencement: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. For the
use of the aboriginal natives of the Tuhoe Tribe.
All that area in the Auckland Land District, containing
by admeasurement 1 rood, more or less, being Section No. 4
of Block V. of the Town of Rotorua. Bounded towards the
north-east by Sections Nos. 3 and 2 of Block V. of the Town
of Rotorua, 225 links; towards the south-east by a line, 111
links; towards the south-west by a line, 225 links; and
towards the north-west by a line, 111 links, to the point of
commencement: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less.
For a site for a drill-hall.
All that parcel of land in the Auckland Land District,
containing by admeasurement 133 acres 3 roods, more or
less, being Section No. 15 of Block XVI., Ohinemuri Survey
District. Bounded towards the north generally by a road,
1529·7, 1109·4, and 1504 links; towards the east generally
by a road along the Ohinemuri River, 449, 854·7, 444·9, 465·4,
738·1, 368·2, 663, and 377 links; towards the south generally by continuation of same road, 686·8, 776·7, and 268·5
links; and towards the west generally by continuation of
road, 551·5, 274·4, 783·7, 1520·7, and 1008·4 links, to the point
of commencement: be all the aforesaid linkages more or
less. For a public recreation-ground.
All that area in the Auckland Land District, containing
by admeasurement 1 acre 3 roods 37 perches, more or less,
being Section No. 83A of the Parish of Rangitaiki. Bounded
towards the north-east by Section No. 83 of the Parish of
Rangitaiki, 629 links; towards the south by a public road,
893 links; and towards the north-west by Section No. 85
of the Parish of Rangitaiki aforesaid, 629 links, to the point
of commencement: be all the aforesaid linkages more or
less. For a public-school site.
All that area in the Auckland Land District, containing
by admeasurement 3 acres and 14 perches, more or less,
being Section No. 3 of Block V., Cambridge Survey District.
Bounded towards the north-east by a public road, 220 and
381 links; towards the south-east by Section No. 4 of
Block V., Cambridge Survey District, 525 links; and towards
the south-west and north-west by Section No. 2 of Block V.,
Cambridge Survey District, 520 links and 550 links respectively, to the point of commencement: be all the aforesaid
linkages more or less. For a public-school site.
All that area in the Auckland Land District, containing
by admeasurement 32 acres 2 roods 14 perches, more or less,
being Section No. 12 of Block XVI., Orahiri Survey District.
Bounded towards the north-east by the Mangarapa Native
Reserve, 2000 links; towards the south-east by Section No. 1
of Block XVI., Orahiri Survey District, 1057 links, and by a
public road, 619 links; towards the south-west by Section
No. 2 of Block XVI. aforesaid, 1860 links; and towards the
north-west by the Pukeroa-Hangatiki No. 4c Block, 1650
links, to the point of commencement: be all the aforesaid
linkages more or less. For an endowment for primary
education.
WELLINGTON.
All that parcel of land in the Wellington Land District,
containing by admeasurement 10 acres, more or less, being
Section No. 23C, Block I., Makuri Survey District. Bounded
towards the north by a public road, 100 links wide; towards
the east by Section No. 23B; towards the south by Section
No. 1; and towards the west by Section No. 96: as the same
is delineated on the plan deposited in the office of the Chief
Surveyor, Wellington. For a public recreation-ground.
All that parcel of land in the Wellington Land District,
containing by admeasurement 4 acres 3 roods, more or less,
being Section No. 23D, Block I., Makuri Survey District.
Bounded towards the north by a public road, 100 links wide,
and Makairo Stream and road reserve; towards the east
by a public road, 100 links wide; towards the south by a
public road, 100 links wide; and towards the west by a
public road reserve along Tiraumea River: as the same is
delineated on the plan deposited in the office of the Chief
Surveyor, Wellington. For a public cemetery.
All that parcel of land in the Wellington Land District,
containing by admeasurement 5 acres 2 roods, more or less,
being Section No. 23E, Block I., Makuri Survey District.
Bounded towards the north by Section No. 20; towards the
east partly by the Makairo Stream and partly by the road
reserve; towards the south by the road reserve along the
