NOTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary general meeting of the shareholders of the First Taieri Gold-dredging Company (Limited), held at the Board Room, Agricultural Hall, Crawford Street, Dunedin, on Wednesday, the 14th day of November, 1900, the following extraordinary resolution was passed:—
“That it has been proved to the satisfaction of the company that the company cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up the same, and accordingly that the company be wound up voluntarily; and that the Liquidator or Liquidators of the company be and he or they is or are hereby authorised to make or enter into any such sale or arrangement as is contemplated by section 222 of ‘The Companies Act, 1882.’”
And that at the same meeting Mr. Thomas Montresor Baldwin was appointed Liquidator for the purposes of such winding-up.
