Declaring Roads in Richmond Brook Settlement to be District Roads.

RANFURLY, Governor.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this sixth day of November, 1900.

Present:

THE HONOURABLE W. HALL-JONES PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in him by “The Public Works Act, 1894,” and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby order that the roads defined in the Schedule below, and which were made by the Governor under the powers contained in the said Act, and have hitherto been Government roads, shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become district roads.

SCHEDULE.

Those roads in the Marlborough Land District, in the Richmond Brook Settlement, aggregating in length 15 miles 40 chains, more or less, and comprising roads and portions of roads as described hereinbelow, viz.:

That road bounding the Awatere River, and extending from the western corner of Section No. 2, Block II., Blue Mountain Survey District, to Section No. 14, Block XXII., Taylor Pass Survey District.

That road forming the eastern boundary of Sections 2 and 1, Block II., Blue Mountain Survey District, intersecting Sections Nos. 7 and 3 and bounding Sections Nos. 3 and 8 of Block XXI., Taylor Pass Survey District.

That road intersecting Section No. 2 and bounding Section No. 1, Block II., Blue Mountain Survey District.

The roads forming the western, northern, and north-eastern boundaries of Section No. 4, and the north-eastern boundaries of Section No. 5, and part of the south-eastern boundary of Section No. 2, all of Block XXI., Taylor Pass Survey District.

The road forming the south-eastern boundary of Section 5, Block XXI., Taylor Pass Survey District.

As the said roads and portions of roads are delineated upon the plan marked S.G. 18814B, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.

The road on the banks of the Omaka River from the western corner of Section No. 1 to the northern corner of Section No. 5, Block VI., Avon Survey District.

The road intersecting Section No. 1, Block VI., Avon Survey District.

The road bounding Sections Nos. 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 2, and a school reserve, Block I., Taylor Pass Survey District.

The road bounding Section No. 8, and intersecting Nos. 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, and 2, and bounding No. 3, Block I., Taylor Pass Survey District.

The road bounding Section No. 3, Block VI., Avon Survey District, on the south.

The road between Sections Nos. 7 and 8, Block I., Taylor Pass Survey District.

The road forming the north-eastern boundaries of Sections Nos. 1 and 2 of Block I., Taylor Pass Survey District.

As the said roads are delineated upon the plan marked S.G. 18814D, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.

Declaring Roads in Blind River Settlement to be District Roads.

Those roads in the Marlborough Land District, in the Blind River Settlement, aggregating in length 22 miles 40 chains, more or less, and comprising roads and portions of roads as described hereinbelow, viz.:

The road following the eastern boundary of Block XII., Clifford Bay Survey District, and fronting the ocean, extending from the northern corner of Section No. 8 to the southern corner of Section No. 28 of said block.

The road fronting Lake Grassmere on the north and north-west, in Blocks XII. and XIV., Clifford Bay Survey District, and bounding Section No. 23 of the last-named block.

The road from the southernmost corner of Section No. 23 of Block XIV. bounding said section, and Sections Nos. 30, 22, 21, 20, 19, 18, 17, 16, and 15 of said block, and Section No. 3, Block XII., Clifford Bay Survey District.

The portion of road intersecting Sections Nos. 20 and 19, Block XIV., Clifford Bay Survey District.

The portion of road intersecting Sections Nos. 18, 17, and 16, Block XIV., Clifford Bay Survey District.

The portion of road intersecting Sections Nos. 16 and 15, Block XIV., and Sections Nos. 14, 13, 4, 5, and 6, Block XII., Clifford Bay Survey District.

The portion of road bounding Sections Nos. 1, 15, and 25, Block XIV., Clifford Bay Survey District.

The portion of road intersecting Section No. 13, and bounding Sections Nos. 4, 5, 6, and 9, Block XII., Clifford Bay Survey District.

The portions of road intersecting Sections Nos. 11 and 10, and 10 and 9, Block XII., Clifford Bay Survey District.

As the said roads and portions of roads are delineated on the plan marked S.G. 18814C, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.

Regulations for netting Trout in Lakes Te Anau and Manapouri.

At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this sixth day of November, 1900.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him by “The Fisheries Conservation Act, 1884,” His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby make the following regulations for netting trout in Lakes Te Anau and Manapouri, within the Southland Acclimatisation District; and doth hereby declare that these regulations shall, as from the date of the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, supersede all regulations at variance therewith:
