A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers conferred by section thirteen of “The Land Act, 1892,” I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, with the consent of the owner of the land hereinafter mentioned, and with the consent of the Pahiatua County Council, being the local authority in whose district the said land is situated, do by this notice hereby proclaim as taken for a road the land in Mangaone Survey District hereinafter described, that is to say:—

Approximate Area of the Parcel of Land taken. Being Portion of Section No. Situated in Block No. Situated in the Survey District of Shown on Plan marked Coloured on Plan
A. R. P. 0 2 19 23 IV. Mangaone 159 18P Red.

In the Land District of Wellington; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked as above noted, deposited in the Department of Lands and Survey at Wellington, in the Land District of Wellington, and thereon coloured as above stated.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly; Knight Commander of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George; Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over Her Majesty’s Colony of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Colony, at the Government House, at Wellington, this fifth day of November, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred.

Additional Land in Lower Kaikorai Survey District taken for the Purposes of the Waitaki-Bluff Railway.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the Waitaki-Bluff Railway to take further land in Lower Kaikorai Survey District, in addition to land previously acquired for the purposes of the said railway:

Now, therefore, I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections twenty-eight and one hundred and sixty-seven of “The Public Works Act, 1894,” and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is taken for the purposes above mentioned.

SCHEDULE.

THE parcel of land mentioned hereunder:—

In the Land District of Otago; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 19114, deposited in the office of the Minister for Public Works, at Wellington, in the Provincial District of Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly; Knight Commander of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George; Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over Her Majesty’s Colony of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Colony, at the Government House, at Wellington, this eighth day of November, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred.
