Additional Land taken in Takapau Survey District for the Purposes of the Wellington-Napier Railway.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the Wellington-Napier Railway to take further land near Ormondville, in addition to land previously acquired for the purposes of the said railway:
Now, therefore, I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections twenty-eight and one hundred and sixty-seven of “The Public Works Act, 1894,” and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is taken for the purposes above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly; Knight Commander of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George; Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over Her Majesty’s Colony of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Colony, at the Government House, at Wellington, this eighth day of October, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in the Governor by “The Marriage Act, 1880,” I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby abolish the existing marriage districts known as the Eltham and Waimate Plains Districts, and do proclaim and declare that the territory heretofore comprised within the said districts is hereby divided anew into three marriage districts, the names and boundaries whereof shall be as follow:—
KAPONGA DISTRICT.
All that area in the Taranaki Land District bounded towards the north-east by a right line from the summit of Mount Egmont to the source of the Kapuni Stream; thence by that stream, intersecting Sections 1, Block III., 19, 20, 21, 22, 29, 30, 35, 36, and 37, Block VII., all of Kaupokonui Survey District, to Palmer Road; thence by Palmer Road to the southern boundary-line of Block VIII., Kaupokonui Survey District: thence towards the north by the said Block VIII. to Hastings Road; thence towards the east by
