Acceptance of an Honorary Corps as an Active Corps.

HIS Excellency the Governor has been pleased to approve that the Kaikoura Mounted Rifle Volunteers, which were accepted by His Excellency on the 6th June, 1900, as an honorary corps, with effect from the 28th October, 1899, may now be deemed to be an active corps with its present seniority in the New Zealand Volunteer Force, and with effect from the 5th September, 1900.

Award of the Imperial Volunteer Officers’ Decoration.

HIS Excellency the Governor has been pleased to approve, under the Royal Warrant dated 25th July, 1892, of the award of the Imperial Volunteer Officers’ Decoration to

Lieutenant WILLIAM HENRY LUCAS,

Hauraki Rifle Volunteers, he having a total broken efficient commissioned and rank service, counting towards the decoration, to the 15th August, 1900, of twenty years one hundred and fifty-four days.

Award of the Imperial Volunteer Officers’ Decoration.

Wairoa Mounted Rifle Volunteers, he having a total efficient commissioned and rank service, counting towards the decoration, to the 31st August, 1900, of twenty years fifty-one days.
