road forming the north-western boundaries of Sections

road forming the south-western boundary of the last-men-
tioned section to the Wai-iti River; by the western bank of
that river to a point in line with the south-western bound-
ary-line of Section No. 38, Block IX. aforesaid; thence to
and by the road forming the south-western boundary of that
section; by the road forming the south-eastern boundary of
Section No. 39; the road forming the south-western bound-
aries of Sections Nos. 26 and 25; by the road forming the
north-western boundaries of Sections Nos. 55, 1 of 56, 57,
58, 59, and 60, Block IX. aforesaid; by the road forming
the south-western boundary of the last-mentioned section;
by the road forming the north-western boundaries of Sec-
tions No. 137, 136, 135, 134, 1 of 133, 131, and 129, Block
XIII., Waimea Survey District; and by the road forming the
south-western boundaries of Sections Nos. 129, 28, and 61,
Block XIII. aforesaid, to the easternmost corner of Section
No.1; thence by the south-eastern boundary-line of Sections
Nos. 1, 2, and 3, Block XIII. aforesaid; by the south-eastern
boundary-lines of Sections Nos. 2 of 4 and 5, Block I., Rin-
toul Survey District; and by the south-eastern boundaries
of Sections Nos. 6, 7, 8, 1 of 8, and 9, Block IV., Gordon
Survey District, to the southernmost corner of the last-
mentioned section; thence by a right line to the southern-
most corner of Section No. 3, Block V., Rintoul Survey
District; and thence by a right line running due east to the
western boundary of the Marlborough Land District: thence
towards the east generally by the Marlborough Land Dis-
trict to Top House: thence towards the south by the road
running generally westward to the Motupiko Valley Road:
thence towards the west generally by the road along the
right bank of the Motupiko River northwards, across the
watershed near Kerr’s Hill, through Long Gully, and along
the right bank of the Motueka River to the southern bound-
ary of Section No. 1, Block V., Gordon Survey District;
thence by that section and Section No. 56, Block VI., to the
northernmost corner of Section No. 35, Block VI.; thence
by the watershed between the Motueka and Wai-iti Rivers,
and the watershed between Stanley Brook and the River
Dove, to the place of commencement.
And I hereby declare that this Proclamation shall come
into operation on the first day of October, in the year of
our Lord one thousand nine hundred.

Order of Saint Michael and Saint George;
Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred upon me by the sixth section of “The Land
Act, 1892,” and of every other power and authority enabling
me in that behalf, I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly,
the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby
declare that from and after the day of the date hereof the
sections of land enumerated in the Schedule hereto shall be
and are hereby withdrawn from sale as village-homestead
allotments.

IN pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon
me by the one-hundred-and-sixty-eighth section of
“The Land Act, 1892,” I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of
Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do
hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown lands described
in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same are hereby
set apart and declared open for lease as a village settlement.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto
is required to be taken for a portion of the Gis-
borne-Karaka Railway—viz., Gisborne Station ground:
And whereas all conditions precedent required by law
to be observed and performed prior to the taking of such
land in the manner hereby provided have been observed and
performed:
Now, therefore, I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly,
the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise
of the powers and authorities conferred on me by section
one hundred and sixty-seven of “The Public Works Act,
1894,” and of every other power and authority in anywise
enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare
that the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is taken for
the purposes of the said line of railway hereinbefore spe-
cified.
