TAHOKA BLOCK.

WHEREAS the Native Land Court, on the 8th day of October, 1883, partitioned the Tahoka Block into four parcels known as Tahoka A, B, C, and D :

And whereas an application under section 39 of “The Native Land Court Act, 1894,” was made on the 3rd day of March, 1900, in respect of the said land, which said application was referred by the Chief Judge to the Court for inquiry and report :

And whereas an inquiry into the matter of the said application was held on the 23rd day of April, 1900, and duly reported on to the effect that a portion of the said land containing about 16 acres had been included in error in the land so partitioned, the said portion having previously to the said partition being sold and transferred :

And whereas the Chief Judge has, in pursuance of the said report, ordered that the said partition orders made on the 8th day of October, 1883, shall be annulled, and has cancelled the same, to the intent that a partition be made of the balance of the said block in accordance with the recommendations contained in the said report :

Notice is hereby given that a sitting of the Court will be held at Gisborne on the 25th day of June, 1900, for the purpose of partitioning the said land as aforesaid.
