Private Advertisements.

In the matter of an intended application to the General Assembly of New Zealand for a private Bill to be intituled “An Act to constitute the Bank of New Zealand Officers’ Guarantee and Provident Association a Body Corporate.”

NOTICE is hereby given that application is intended to be made at the ensuing session of the General Assembly of New Zealand for leave to bring in a Bill intituled “An Act to constitute the Bank of New Zealand Officers’ Guarantee and Provident Association a Body Corporate”; and that the objects of such Bill are,—

  1. To provide for the incorporation of the said association.

  2. To provide for the vesting in it, when so incorporated, of all mortgages and other securities now held by the New Zealand Insurance Company on behalf of the association, and of all real or personal property of every description now held by or vested in any person or body corporate as trustee for or on behalf of the association.

  3. To give legislative effect to the rules for the conduct and management of the business and affairs of the association.

  4. To provide for a Board of Management.

And notice is hereby further given that copies of the said Bill will be deposited at the office of the Examiner of Standing Orders, at Wellington, within fourteen days after the commencement of the said session.

THE Partnership hitherto existing between the undersigned as Cycle Agents and Manufacturers at Invercargill, under the style of “Godward and McKenzie,” has been dissolved this day by mutual consent. The business will be carried on by Roderick McKenzie alone, to whom all accounts owing to the late firm must be paid and by whom all debts of the firm will be discharged.

An Act to enable the Establishment of Gasworks at the Borough of Pahiatua, in the Provincial District of Wellington and Colony of New Zealand, to supply the said Borough with Gas.

NOTICE is hereby given that it is intended to apply for leave to bring in a Bill at the next ensuing session of the Parliament of New Zealand to enable Henry William Briggs, of Pahiatua, Land Agent, to establish and carry on gasworks in the Borough of Pahiatua, in the Provincial District of Wellington, and to produce and supply gas within the limits of the said borough, and to do all such other acts, deeds, matters, and things as from time to time may be incidental or conducive to the carrying-out fully and effectually of the said proposals; and that copies of the said Bill will be deposited in the Examiner’s Office on the 31st day of May, 1900.
