IN exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities
vested in me by “The Animals Protection Act, 1880,”
I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the
Colony of New Zealand, do hereby appoint those parts of
the said colony described in the Schedule hereto to be a
district under the said “Animals Protection Act, 1880”;
and I do further appoint such district to be known as the
Mangonui-Whangaroa Acclimatisation District.
SCHEDULE.
MANGONUI-WHANGAROA ACCLIMATISATION DISTRICT.
ALL that area comprised within the Counties of Mangonui
and Whangaroa.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor,
this eighteenth day of March, one thousand nine
