IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by “The Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act 1894,” I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby notify that

THE following special order, made by the Oakura Road Board, is published in accordance with the provisions of “The Road Boards Act, 1882.”

SPECIAL ORDER made by the Oakura Road Board, Taranaki County.
THAT the Oakura Road Board hereby resolves, by way of special order, to readjust the now-existing loan of £600, inscribed in 1899, under the provisions of subsection (1) of section 2 of “The Government Loans to Local Bodies Act Amendment Act, 1899,” so that interest shall be paid at the reduced yearly rate of 4½ per cent. per annum for the term of twenty-six years; such readjustment to take effect on the 1st day of February, 1900. Such resolution to be submitted for confirmation at a special meeting of the Board to be held on Monday, the 15th day of January, 1900.

RESULT of poll of ratepayers of the Mangaore Special Rating District, taken on Wednesday, 10th January, 1900, on the proposal to borrow £350, under the Government Loans to Local Bodies Acts, for the purpose of constructing Mangaore Road through the said special district:—
Number of valid votes recorded, 6; number of valid votes for the proposal, 6; number of valid votes against the proposal, nil.
The number of valid votes recorded for the proposal being more than three-fifths of the total number of valid votes recorded, I hereby declare the poll to be carried.

The number of valid votes recorded for the proposal being more than three-fifths of the total number of valid votes recorded, I hereby declare the poll to be carried.

The number of valid votes recorded for the proposal being more than three-fifths of the total number of valid votes recorded, I hereby declare the poll carried.
