THE following special orders, made by the Wirokino Road Board, are published in accordance with the provisions of “The Road Boards Act, 1882.”

WIROKINO ROAD BOARD.
Special Order.
THAT this Board now make the following special order: That, for the purpose of the readjustment of the now-existing loans obtained under the provisions of the Government Loans to Local Bodies Acts, and specified in the Schedule hereto, the Wirokino Road Board does hereby order and authorise the said now-existing loans, and the inscribed debt in respect of such loans, to be readjusted under the provisions of subsection (3) of section 2 of “The Government Loans to Local Bodies Act, 1899,” for the unexpired period of forty-one years, such readjustment to take effect on 1st February next. The payments to be made by the Wirokino Road Board on such loans and inscribed debt to be at the rate of 3½ per cent., payable half-yearly, during the unexpired period of forty-one years from the 1st day of February aforesaid.

I hereby specify that the foregoing special order was duly adopted by the Wirokino Road Board at an ordinary meeting held on the 16th day of December, 1899, and confirmed at a special meeting on the 20th day of January, 1900, and in accordance with the provisions of “The Road Boards Act, 1882.”

WIROKINO ROAD BOARD.
Special Order.
THAT this Board now make the following special order: That, for the purpose of readjusting the boundary between Wards Nos. 2 and 4, the proposed new boundary to be as follows, viz.: Commencing at the Manawatu River, at the north-west corner of Section 1, Block X., Mount Robinson Survey District, and running along the western boundaries of Sections 1 and 2; thence in an easterly direction along the southern boundaries of Sections 3, Block XI., 2, 3, and 4, Block XV., Mount Robinson Survey District, to the Buckley Road; thence following the said road in a southerly direction to the south-west corner of School Reserve No. 20; thence in a south-easterly direction along the southern boundary of Sections 13 and 12, Block XV., Mount Robinson Survey District, until it touches the Mangaone Stream; thence in a southerly direction along the said stream until it touches the south-west corner of Section 3, Block IV., Waiopehu Survey District; thence in a south-easterly direction along the southern boundary of the said section to the eastern boundary of the Horowhenua County.
I hereby certify that the foregoing special order by the Wirokino Road Board was duly adopted at an ordinary meeting held on the 16th day of December, 1899, and confirmed at a special meeting on the 20th day of January, 1900, and in accordance with the provisions of “The Road Boards Act, 1882.”

EGMONT ROAD BOARD.
SPECIAL order passed by the Egmont Road Board at a special meeting held on the 20th December, 1899, and confirmed at a special meeting held on the 15th January, 1900:—
“That the Egmont Road Board hereby resolves, by way of special order, to readjust the now-existing loans of £1,252 17s. 6d. on the Egmont Road, £200 on the Tarurutangi Road, £100 on the Kaipi Road, under the provisions of subsection (1) of section 2 of ‘The Government Loans to Local Bodies Act Amendment Act, 1899,’ so that interest shall be paid at the reduced yearly rate of 4½ per centum per annum for the unexpired residue of the original respective terms of the said loans; such readjustment to take effect on the 1st day of February, 1900.”

PARIHAKA ROAD BOARD.
Special Order.
NOTICE is hereby given that the following special order was made on Saturday, 30th December, 1899, and confirmed on Tuesday, 30th January, 1900:—
“That, to secure the repayment of a loan of £2,500, raised under ‘The Government Loans to Local Bodies Act, 1886,’ for the purpose of draining, forming, bridging, and metalling the Upper Kina Road, from the Main South Road to the Wiremu Road, a special rate of 3½d. in the pound be made and levied over the following lands—viz., Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 17; Subdivisions 1 and 2 of Section 15; Subdivisions 1, 2, and 3 of Section 16; Subdivisions 1 and 2 of Section 39; and Subdivisions 3, 4, 14, and 15 (Ngatitara), Block 6; Subdivisions 5, 6, and 7, Block 3; Subdivisions 16, 17, and 18, Block 7; and half of each of Subdivisions 8, 9, 19, and 20, Block 3; and half of each of Sections 25 and 26, Block 5—all of which is situated in the Opunake Survey District, and constituting the Upper Kina Special Rating District. Such rate to be an annually recurring rate for twenty-six years, payable in one instalment on the 1st day of January in each year.”
I hereby certify that the above special order was duly made in accordance with “The Road Boards Act, 1882.”
