of the said County of Mauriceville shall take place, and that Tuesday, the nineteenth day of December, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-nine, at one o’clock p.m., shall be the time, and the Mauriceville Road Board Office, Mauriceville, shall be the place, at which the first meeting of the said Council shall be held.

RIDINGS OF MAURICEVILLE COUNTY.
West Riding.
All that area in the Mauriceville County bounded towards the north generally by the Eketauna County as described in the Schedule to “The Eketauna County Act, 1898,” from the summit of the Tararua Range to Mangaoronga Road; thence by the said Mangaoronga Road to Section No. 72, Block XIV., Mangaone Survey District; thence by the said Section No. 72, Section No. 123 of the said Block XIV. and northern boundary-line of the last-mentioned section produced to west side of Masterton-Woodville Road; thence by west side of the said Masterton-Woodville Road to Section No. 142 of the said Block XIV.; thence by that section and the Wellington-Napier Railway-line to the northern boundary-line of Section No. 117, Block XIV. aforesaid, produced; thence by that line to the middle of the Kopuaranga River; thence by a line down the middle of the Kopuaranga River to where the northern boundary-line of Section No. 115, Block XIV., Mangaone Survey District, intersects that river; thence by the northern and western boundaries of the said Section No. 115, and by Section No. 113, Block XIV. aforesaid, to Salter’s Road; thence by the northern, eastern, and southern boundaries of Salter’s Road to the middle of the Kopuaranga River; thence by a line down the middle of the Kopuaranga River to the northern boundary-line of Section No. 211, Block II., Kopuaranga Survey District, produced to the middle of the Kopuaranga River; thence by that line and Sections Nos. 211, 109, and 104, to north-east corner of Section No. 94, all in Block II. of Kopuaranga Survey District; thence by west side of Masterton-Woodville Road to the middle of the Kopuaranga River; thence by a line down the middle of that river to Brodersen’s Road; thence by the northern, western, and southern boundaries of Brodersen’s Road to the middle of the Kopuaranga River; thence by a line down the middle of the Kopuaranga River to the southern boundary of Mauriceville County: towards the south and west by the southern and western boundaries of Mauriceville County, described in the Schedule to “The Mauriceville County Act, 1899.”
East Riding.
All that area in the Mauriceville County bounded towards the north generally by Eketauna County as described in the Schedule to “The Eketauna County Act, 1898,” from the southernmost corner of Section No. 75, Block XIV., Mangaone Survey District, to the westernmost corner of Section No. 30, Block XV., Mangaone Survey District; thence by that section and Sections Nos. 10, 11, 12, 13, and 16 of the said Block XV., to Barton’s Road line; thence by the said Barton’s line to the westernmost corner of Section No. 86, Block XVI., Mangaone Survey District; thence by that section and Section No. 87 of the said Block XVI., and by Sections Nos. 88 and 16, Block IV., Kopuaranga Survey District, to the southernmost corner of the last-mentioned section: thence towards the south-east and south generally by the south-eastern and southern boundaries of Mauriceville County, as described in the Schedule to “The Mauriceville County Act, 1899”: and towards the west generally by the West Riding hereinbefore described.

Prescribing Dues and Rates for Havelock Wharf.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this twentieth day of November, 1899.

His Excellency the Governor in Council.
WHEREAS it is provided by the fourth section of “The Harbours Act Amendment Act, 1879,” that the power granted to the Governor in Council by the seventeenth section of “The Harbours Act, 1878,” in respect of prescribing what dues and rates may be charged on wharves vested in local bodies, may be exercised from time to time as occasion may require, and shall not be limited as in the said section is provided:
And whereas the management of the Havelock Wharf was by Order in Council dated the seventeenth day of July, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-nine, vested in the Havelock Town Board, and certain dues and rates for the use of the wharf were prescribed by the said Order in Council:
And whereas it is desirable to revoke the said dues, and to prescribe others in lieu thereof:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the hereinbefore-recited power and authority, and of all other powers and authorities in anywise enabling him in that behalf, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby revoke the dues and rates for the use of the Havelock Wharf as prescribed by the said Order in Council of the seventeenth day of July, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-nine, and doth hereby prescribe that the dues and rates specified in the Schedule hereto shall be charged and taken for the use of the said wharf.

Setting apart a Reserve under “The Kauri-gum Industry Act, 1898.”

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this twentieth day of November, 1899.

His Excellency the Governor in Council.
WHEREAS by “The Kauri-gum Industry Act, 1898” (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it is enacted that the Governor in Council is authorised under the said Act to set apart any specified area of Crown lands within a kauri-gum district to be kauri-gum reserves under the said Act: And whereas it is expedient to create and set apart the kauri-gum reserve hereinafter mentioned:
Now, therefore, I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon me by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, do hereby set apart the area of Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as a kauri-gum reserve, with the name set over the description of such reserve in the said Schedule.
