Proclaiming a Road as closed through Land in Opaheke Parish, Drury Survey District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers conferred by section thirteen of “The Land Act, 1892,” I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do by this notice hereby proclaim as closed part of the road in the Drury Survey District hereinafter described, that is to say,—

Approximate Areas of the Portions of Road to be closed. Being Road between Sections Situated in the Parish of Survey District of Shown on Plan marked Coloured on Plan
A. R. P. 2 2 35 52 and 17 Opaheke Drury 1103 (in blue) Green.
0 3 33 52 and 17 " " Ditto "
1 3 31 17 and 18, and through 17 " " " "

As the same are delineated on the plan marked as above mentioned, deposited in the District Office of the Department of Lands and Survey at Auckland, in the Auckland Land District, and thereon coloured as above noted.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly; Knight Commander of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George; Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over Her Majesty's Colony of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Colony, at the Government House, at Wellington, this sixteenth day of June, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and ninety-nine.

Extension of Time for Preparation of County Rolls, Collingwood.

RANFURLY, Governor.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this tenth day of June, 1899.

Present:

THE HONOURABLE A. J. CADMAN PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS it has been made to appear that, owing to unavoidable circumstances, the preparation of the rolls for the County of Collingwood, and the taking of certain steps consequent on such preparation, cannot be made and taken within the times limited by “The Counties Act, 1886,” and it is expedient to extend the said times respectively:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers conferred upon him by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby order and declare that the several dates mentioned in the Schedule hereto shall be the respective dates for taking the several steps set out in the said Schedule.

SCHEDULE.

  1. For preparing the rolls for ridings within the County of Collingwood: Until the 22nd June, 1899.

  2. Time for which such rolls shall be open for inspection: From the 22nd June, 1899, to the 15th July, 1899.

  3. Time for appeals against the said rolls: Until the 31st July, 1899.

  4. Revision Courts may sit for hearing applications with reference to the said rolls, and adjourn: Until the 21st August, 1899.

  5. Time when the said rolls, having been duly corrected and signed, shall come into force: On the 1st September, 1899.
