A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in the Governor by “The Registration of Births and Deaths Act, 1875,” I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby abolish the existing registration districts known as the Stratford, Waimate Plains, Hawera, and Waitara Districts, and do proclaim and declare that the territory heretofore comprised within the said districts is hereby divided anew into five registration districts, the names whereof shall be the Stratford, Waimate Plains, Eltham, Hawera, and Waitara Districts, and the boundaries whereof shall be coterminous with the boundaries of the marriage districts bearing the same names as are set forth in a Proclamation of even date herewith, made under the provisions of “The Marriage Act, 1880.”

Vesting Reserves in the Manawatu County Council.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-fifth day of April, 1899.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS the lands mentioned in the Schedule hereto were permanently set apart as gravel reserves on the twentieth day of January, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-nine:
And whereas, in the opinion of His Excellency the Governor, it is expedient that the said lands should be vested in the Manawatu County Council:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, and in exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him by the fourth section of “The Public Reserves Act, 1881,” doth hereby declare that, from and after the day of the date hereof, the reserves mentioned in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in “The Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the Manawatu County,” in trust, for gravel reserves.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that parcel of land in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 2 acres, more or less, being Section No. 45, Block XV., Rangitoto Survey District. Bounded towards the north-east, south-east, and south-west by Section No. 12; and towards the north-west by a public road, 100 links wide: as the same is delineated on the plan deposited in the office of the Chief Surveyor, Wellington.
All that parcel of land in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 2 acres, more or less, being Section No. 46, Block XV., Rangitoto Survey District. Bounded towards the north by Section No. 19; towards the east by a public right-of-way, 30 links wide, and Section No. 46; towards the south by Section No. 46; and towards the west by Section No. 46: as the same is delineated on the plan deposited in the office of the Chief Surveyor, Wellington.
All that parcel of land in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 1 acre, more or less, being Section No. 47, Block XV., Rangitoto Survey District. Bounded towards the north-east by Section No. 18; towards the south-east by Section No. 18; towards the south-west by Section No. 18; and towards the west by a public road, 100 links wide: as the same is delineated on the plan deposited in the office of the Chief Surveyor, Wellington.

Bounded towards the north-east by Section No. 39 and a public road, 100 links wide; towards the east by Terrace Road; towards the south by a public road, 100 links wide; and towards the south-west and north-west by said public road: as the same is delineated on the plan deposited in the office of the Chief Surveyor, Wellington.
All that parcel of land in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 3 acres 2 roods 21 perches, more or less, being Section No. 31, Block VII., Waitohu Survey District. Bounded generally towards the north-west, north-east, and south-east by a public road, 100 links wide; and towards the south by Section No. 13: as the same is delineated on the plan deposited in the office of the Chief Surveyor, Wellington.
