Bounded on the north by a line bearing 135°, distance 51 chains; on the east by a line bearing 225°, distance 44 chains; on the south by a line bearing 315°, distance 34 chains; and on the west by a road reserve along the Ocean Beach to starting-point: be all the aforesaid linkages a little more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan deposited in the office of the Chief Surveyor, Hokitika.

Bounded on the north by the Main South Road, distance 30 chains; on the east by a road reserve along the south bank of the Waiho River, distance about 54 chains 60 links; on the south by a line bearing 270°, distance 40 chains; and on the west by a line bearing 360°, distance 68 chains: be the aforesaid linkages a little more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan deposited in the office of the Chief Surveyor, Hokitika.

Land temporarily reserved in the Land Districts of Auckland, Wellington, Canterbury, and Southland.
RANFURLY, Governor.
WHEREAS by the two-hundred-and-thirty-fifth section of “The Land Act, 1892,” it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, either by general or particular description, and whether the same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned:
Now, therefore, I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in me by the said Act, do hereby temporarily reserve from sale the lands in the Land Districts of Auckland, Wellington, Canterbury, and Southland described in the Schedule hereunder written, for the purposes in the said Schedule specified at the end of the description of the lands so intended to be temporarily reserved.
SCHEDULE.
AUCKLAND.
All that area in the Auckland Land District being Section No. 25 of the Parish of Katikati, containing by admeasurement 80 acres, more or less. Bounded towards the north-east by Section No. 26 of the Parish of Katikati, 1886 links; towards the south-east by said section, 2345 links, and by a public road, 64, 272, 240, 290, 370, 306, 476, 455, and 176 links; towards the west by a public road, 194, 289, 217, 219, 271, 258, 631, 304, 344, 199, 255, and 378 links; and towards the north-west by Sections Nos. 1 and 24 of the Parish of Katikati, 3600 links, to the point of commencement: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. For a public recreation reserve.
All that area in the Auckland Land District being Section No. 185B of the Parish of Mangatawhiri, containing by admeasurement 5 acres, more or less. Bounded towards the east by a public road, 253, 548, and 32 links; towards the south-east by Section No. 185 of the Parish of Mangatawhiri, 526 links; and towards the south-west and north-west by Section No. 185A of the same parish, 700 and 965 links respectively, to the point of commencement: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. For a quarry reserve.
WELLINGTON.
All that parcel of land in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 13 acres 1 rood 24 perches, more or less, being Section No. 35, Block II., Puketoi Survey District. Bounded generally towards the north and east by Mount Marchant Road; towards the south by Section No. 37; and towards the west by Mount Marchant Road: as the same is delineated on the plan deposited in the office of the Chief Surveyor, Wellington. For a reserve for the accommodation of travelling stock.
All that parcel of land in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 23 acres 3 roods, more or less, being Sections Nos. 21 and 22, Block XVI., Mangahao Survey District. Bounded towards the north-east by Section No. 41; towards the south-east by Section No. 16 and the Mangaone Valley Road; towards the west by Mangaone River; and towards the north-west by Section No. 41: as the same is delineated on the plan deposited in the office of the Chief Surveyor, Wellington. All that parcel of land in the Canterbury Land District, containing by admeasurement 50 acres, more or less, being section numbered 2873 (in red), situate in Block II., Gladstone Survey District, being a rectangular block of land 1923·1 links by 2599·5 links, the south-western corner of the said block being 13580·4 links from Trig. L on a bearing of 55° 10′; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan deposited in the District Survey Office, Christchurch. For a paddock for the Rabbit Inspector.
All that parcel of land in the Canterbury Land District, containing by admeasurement 25 acres, more or less, being section numbered 2874 (in red), situate in Block X., Cass Survey District, being a block of land 1250 links wide by an average length of 2000 links, fronting south-west on the road reserved along the River Tasman, to cover the rabbiter’s hut; as the same is delineated on the map deposited in the District Survey Office, Christchurch.
