Notice by the Public Trustee under “The Unclaimed Lands Act, 1894.”

To the owner or owners of a parcel of land, containing 36 perches, more or less, being Lot 36 on deposited plan, part of Rural Section 3124, Templeton Road District, in the Provincial District of Canterbury, having a frontage to Bricknor Street of 180 links and to Railway Terrace of 125 links. The last registered owner is Frederick Brock, described as of Lincoln Road, carpenter. The land is now in the occupation of Mr. William Davidson.

WHEREAS the Public Trustee has instituted inquiries, and has not thereby ascertained who the owner or owners of the above-described land is or are, and believes that such owner is, or owners are, not in the colony:

Now, this notice calls upon such owner or owners, within six months of the date of the publication of this notice in this Gazette, to establish to the satisfaction of the Public Trustee his or their title to the land specified in this notice; and, if such owner does or owners do not, within the time limited, so establish his or their title, the Public Trustee will exercise the powers and authorities granted to him in and by “The Unclaimed Lands Act, 1894.”

NOTICE is hereby given that applications for the sections of land in the Ngapaeruru Block, in the Hawke’s Bay Land District, will be received at the Courthouse, Dannevirke, on Monday next, from 2 to 4 p.m., and Tuesday and Wednesday, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.; and that the ballot, in the cases where more than one application has been received, will be held at the same place on Thursday, the 23rd February, at 4 p.m., instead of being held at the Lands and Survey Office, Napier, as previously advertised.

THE under-mentioned Crown lands will be open for selection at the District Lands and Survey Office, Napier, and the local Land Office, Gisborne, on Wednesday, the 22nd March, 1899.

If more than one application be received for the same section on the same day, then the order of selection shall be decided by ballot on Monday, the 27th March, 1899, at 11 a.m., at the District Lands and Survey Office, Gisborne. Unselected sections may be applied for after the 22nd March, 1899, at the District Lands and Survey Offices, Napier and Gisborne,
