DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership hitherto subsisting between PETER HALLYBURTON MILLER and NORTHCO TE WILLIAM NICHOLAS LAUCHLAN, trading in Farish Street, Wellington, as Mercantile Agents, under the style of “Miller, Lauchlan, and Co.,” has been dissolved as from the 30th day of September last by mutual consent.
The business will be carried on as heretofore by the said Peter Hallyburton Miller, who will be responsible for all debts due by the late firm. All moneys due to the firm will be collected by the said Peter Hallyburton Miller, and shall be payable to him alone.

“THE RATING ACT AMENDMENT ACT, 1896.”
To the owners of the under-mentioned blocks, situate in the County of Hawke’s Bay.
TAKE notice that, pursuant to the provisions of “The Rating Act Amendment Act, 1896,” you are required by the Hawke’s Bay County Council, within three months after the date of this notice, by writing under the hands of the majority of you, the owners of the under-mentioned blocks, to nominate one of yourselves to represent all the owners and occupiers of the said land for the purpose of rating; and take further notice that, unless this requisition is complied with within the time aforesaid, the Hawke’s Bay County Council will, pursuant to the said Act, itself select one of you, the said owners, for the purpose aforesaid.
