A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers conferred by section thirteen of "The Land Act, 1892," I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do by this notice hereby proclaim as closed the road in the Wai-iti Survey District hereinafter described, that is to say:—

As the same is delineated upon the plan marked as above mentioned, deposited in the District Office of the Department of Lands and Survey at Nelson, in the Nelson Land District, and thereon coloured as above noted.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers conferred by section thirteen of "The Land Act, 1892," I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, with the consent of the owners of the lands hereinafter mentioned, and with the consent of the Upper Moutere Road Board, being the local authority in whose district the said lands are situated, do by this notice hereby proclaim as a road the lands mentioned in the Schedule hereto,

All in the Nelson Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked as above noted, deposited in the District Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Nelson, in the Nelson Land District, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Amending a Proclamation resuming Land held under Lease in Perpetuity for the Purposes of a Road.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance of the powers and authorities conferred by the sixth section of "The Land Act, 1892," and of all other powers and authorities enabling me in this behalf, I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, do hereby amend the Proclamation published in the New Zealand Gazette of the thirty-first day of March, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-eight, page five hundred and thirty-two, resuming land held under lease in perpetuity for the purposes of a road, in respect of the following words: namely, from the last line of the third paragraph delete the words "a public road," and substitute therefor the following words—i.e., "obtaining gravel therefrom for public roads."

WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the Wellington-Napier Railway to take further land in Mangahao Survey District, in addition to land previously acquired for the purposes of the said railway:

Now, therefore, I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by "The Public Works Act, 1894," and of every other power and
