AT a meeting of shareholders of the Golden Crown Dredging Company (Limited), held the 1st June, 1898, the following “extraordinary” resolutions were carried:—
1st. “That it has been proved to the satisfaction of the company that the company cannot by reason of its liabilities continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up the same voluntarily.”
2nd. “That Mr. A. G. Fenwick be appointed Liquidator, his remuneration to be computed during the period of liquidation at the rate of £50 per annum.”

In the matter of “The Companies Act, 1882,” and of the Jewel Gold-mining Company (Limited).
NOTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary general meeting of the above company, held at No. 3, Mercantile Chambers, Auckland, on the 10th day of May, 1898, the following resolutions were unanimously passed, and at a subsequent extraordinary general meeting, held at the same place on the 25th day of May, 1898, the said resolutions were duly confirmed, viz.:—
“That the Jewel Gold-mining Company (Limited) be wound up, and wound up voluntarily.”
“That Mr. Joseph Barber and Mr. John Thomas Julian be the Liquidators.”

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership heretofore existing between us as Coachbuilders, at Lower High Street, Christchurch, under the style of “Boon and Stevens,” has been dissolved by mutual consent.
All accounts against the late firm must be rendered at once, and all accounts owing must be paid to W. J. Stevens, who will continue the business on his own account.
