NOTICE is hereby given, in pursuance of section 202 of “The Companies Act, 1882,” that a General Meeting of members of the above-named company will be held at the Borough Council Chambers, Balclutha, on Tuesday, the twenty-first day of June, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-eight, at seven o’clock in the afternoon, for the purpose of having an account laid before them showing the manner in which the winding-up has been conducted and the property of the company disposed of, and of hearing any explanation that may be given by the Liquidator.

PUBLIC notice is hereby given, in accordance with the provisions of “The Public Works Act, 1894,” that it is proposed to take the two parcels of land as herein described for the purpose of street-improvement, viz.:

All that parcel of land, being part of Athenæum Reserve 21, Block I., Borough of Riverton, containing six perches and one-tenth perch (6¹⁄₁₀), be it more or less; as the same is delineated and coloured red on plan deposited at the office of the Borough Council Chambers, Riverton.

All that parcel of land, forming portion of Section 20, Block I., Borough of Riverton, containing nine-tenths (⁹⁄₁₀) of one perch, be it more or less; as the same is delineated and coloured green on plan deposited at the office of the Borough Council Chambers, Riverton.
Any persons affected by the taking of the aforesaid lands must lodge their objections (if any) with me on or before Monday, 2nd May, 1898.
