Changing the Purposes of Reserves in Auckland and Wellington.
RANFURLY, Governor.
WHEREAS the provisions and the requirements of the seventh section of “The Public Reserves Act, 1881,” have been duly complied with in respect of the lands described in the first column of the Schedule hereto: And whereas notices in the Gazette have been duly published for four consecutive weeks, and laid before both Houses of the Assembly as provided by the said section of the said Act: And whereas no resolution of either House of Assembly has been passed that such House does not concur in the intention declared in any such notices:
Now, therefore, I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Act aforesaid, do hereby change the specific purposes of the reserves described in the first column of the Schedule hereto to the specific purposes set opposite such descriptions in the second column of the said Schedule.

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.
All that parcel of land, containing by admeasurement 1 acre and 12 perches, more or less, being Lot No. 38 in the Parish of Okura, Block XI., Waiwera Survey District, Auckland Land District. Bounded towards the north-east by a road, 468 links; towards the south by a road, 598 links; and towards the north-west by a road, 477 links, to the point of commencement. Reserved on the 26th July, 1881, by a warrant published in Gazette No. 61, of the 28th July, 1881, page 960, as a site for a public hall. | Site for offices and buildings of the General Government.
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT.
All that parcel of land in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 2 roods, more or less, being Section No. 7, Township of Palmerston North. Bounded towards the north-west by Section No. 6; towards the north-east by Section No. 9; towards the south-east by Main Street East; and towards the south-west by Sections Nos. 3, 4, and 5: as the same is delineated on the plan deposited in the office of the Chief Surveyor, Wellington. Reserved and set apart for the use of the Public Works Department of New Zealand on the 20th July, 1871, by Proclamation published in the Wellington Provincial Gazette of the 31st July, 1871. | For a site for buildings and for other purposes of the Department of Agriculture.

Appointing a Trustee for Waimea South Cemetery.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the sixth section of “The Cemeteries Act, 1882,” I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby appoint
ROBERT BODDINGTON
to be a Trustee, in the place of William Ratt, deceased, to provide for the maintenance and care of the Waimea South Public Cemetery, in conjunction with the other persons appointed by a warrant under the hand of His Excellency the Governor on the first day of April, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-four.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this second day of March, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-eight.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the sixth section of “The Cemeteries Act, 1882,” I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby appoint the several persons whose names are specified in the first column of the Schedule hereto to be Trustees to provide for the maintenance and care of the public cemetery specified in the second column of the said Schedule.

Bounded towards the north by a public road on the banks of the Mokihinui River, 769·5 links; towards the east partly by Section 116, Town of Mokihinui, and partly by Crown lands, 743 links; towards the south-west by Section 4, Block X., Mokihinui Survey District, 338·5 links; and towards the west by Section 4 aforesaid, 664 links: as the same is delineated on the map deposited in the office of the Chief Surveyor, Nelson.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this second day of March, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-eight.
