IT is hereby notified that, in accordance with “The Public Works Act, 1894,” the Porangahau Road Board intend, for the purpose of constructing a public road, to take the following land, situated in Block XI., Tautane Survey District:—
(a.) Part of Tautane Native Reserve, containing 3 roods 11 perches, edged red on plan. (b.) Part of Block X., containing 3 roods 11 perches, edged blue on plan.
The plan of said lands and road lies open for inspection at the public school, Porangahau.
All persons affected shall, if they have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of such land, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Porangahau Road Board, Porangahau.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership formerly existing between ARTHUR HAMILTON ROWLEY and WILLIAM SEPTIMUS SEAWARD CANTRELL, as Farmers, at or near Thornbury, in the County of Wallace, was dissolved by mutual consent as from the 10th day of December, 1897.
All the debts and liabilities of the late firm will be paid and discharged by the said William Septimus Seaward Cantrell, who is authorised to collect and receive, and give proper receipts and discharges for, all moneys due, owing, or payable to the said firm.
