Land declared to be Crown Land subject to “The Land for Settlements Act, 1894.”

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been acquired under the provisions of “The Land for Settlements Act, 1894” (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), and the purchase thereof has been concluded as by the said Act is provided: And whereas it is enacted by the said Act that all land so acquired shall be proclaimed as Crown land subject to the provisions of the said Act:
Now, therefore, I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the power and authority conferred by the said Act, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall, on the date of the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, be and be deemed to be Crown land subject to the provisions of “The Land for Settlements Act, 1894.”
SCHEDULE.
PAPARANGI SETTLEMENT.
All that area in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 322 acres 3 roods 32 perches, more or less, situated in Block XII., Belmont Survey District, and bounded towards the north generally by part of Section No. 19, 1118·8 links, by a portion of the Wellington-Manawatu Railway Company’s land, 1793·8 links, and again by other part of said Section No. 19, 3880·2 links; towards the east generally by Sections Nos. 3, 2, and 1, 5495·1 links; towards the south generally by part of Section No. 14, 6272 links, and by another part of said Section No. 14, 386·6 links; and towards the west generally by the Porirua Road: be the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated upon the plan marked S.G. 19194, deposited in the Head Office of the Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon edged with green.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly; Knight Commander of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George; Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over Her Majesty’s Colony of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Colony, at the Government House, at Christchurch, this fourteenth day of February, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and ninety-eight.

Taking Land for a Road-deviation, Weber Survey District.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers conferred by section thirteen of “The Land Act, 1892,” I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, with the consent of the trustees of the land hereinafter mentioned, and with the consent of the Weber Road Board, being the local authority in whose district the said land is situated, do by this notice hereby proclaim as a road the land, being a portion of Section 18, Block VI., Weber Survey District, mentioned in the Schedule hereto.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers conferred by section thirteen of “The Land Act, 1892,” I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, with the consent of the owner of the land hereinafter mentioned, and with the consent of the Hutt County Council, being the local authority in whose district the said land is situated, do by this notice hereby proclaim as a road the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers conferred by section thirteen of “The Land Act, 1892,” I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, with the consent of the owner and mortgagee of the land hereinafter mentioned, and with the consent of the Pahiatua County Council, being the local authority in whose district the said land is situated, do by this notice hereby proclaim as a road the land in the Puketoi Survey District mentioned in the Schedule hereto.
