Trustees appointed for the Maintenance of the Balfour Public Cemetery.
RANFURLY, Governor.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the sixth section of "The Cemeteries Act, 1882," I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby appoint the several persons whose names are specified in the first column of the Schedule hereto to be Trustees to provide for the maintenance and care of the public cemetery specified in the second column of the said Schedule.

All that parcel of land in the Southland Land District, containing 4 acres, being part of Section No. 533, Hokonui District. Bounded as follows: Commencing at a point on the north-eastern boundary of Section No. 533, Hokonui District, distant 4152 links north-westerly along the said boundary from the easternmost corner of the said section; then from such starting-point, continuing north-westerly, along the said boundary for 800 links; thence south-westerly at a bearing of 205° for 500 links; thence south-easterly at a bearing of 115° for 800 links; and thence north-easterly at a bearing of 25° to the starting-point. |
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this twenty-seventh day of October, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-seven.
